This is the power of Bruce. He has a fan base which spans three/four generations. He has had a couple of four year old kids on stage to sing along to Waiting on a sunny day and a 91 year old lady to dance with him during Dancing in the dark. His music crosses family boundaries and removes age gaps. His shows are a magical place to be.

I was there for this. He called the night "a serious night of audience participation", on account of how many signs there were. This was a woman who followed Bruce with her daughter all the way from Italy!

The first time he got my attention was with "PHILADELPHIA". Just thinking about it brings tears to your eyes. Thanks for this one. I think that was the "DRIFTERS" big hit.
Song by Doc Pomus who had polio as a child. When he got married, his brother did the dance with the bride. There's a documentary with home movie footage of same. Knowing that, I've long thought of it as a extraordinarily great love song.

In his concert in Hyde Park Bruce brings his mom out and dances with her, than brings his sister to play guitar it was moving as hell. Made more poignant that his mom passed away recently. Bruce has a live album out of all covers…it’s brilliant you’ll love it.
