Went last Sunday 7 of us what a great time we had first time there will be going back lots of dust but who cares your on your dirt bike with your family great day nice people
Great video. I noticed a few mins in you said you had been to mines and meadows the day before. By comparison which of the 2 parks did you enjoy more? I live 15 mins from mines and meadows and ride there probably 10x a year because it’s so convenient. Keep wanting to make a trip to mountain ridge but always procrastinate lol.
Both has their own character. M&M is definitely more muddier and the mine tour is a nice add. MTR is always dusty, being up on the bill, the wind turbines are usually moving a bit thus their placement there. I would say both around the same side, MTR 100 miles of trails, M&M about 80 or so. Both have camping and good assortment of open, wooded, muddy and rocky trails, but I will only go to MTR if it just rained or isn't the dry season. VERY hard to see even with my particle separator and helmet pumping air. Loved both of them, hope to be back again soon.
Not a problem you’ll do OK in that ride the only real hill is that windmill hill that you see there so no need to worry about it. You stay on the easy trails. You’ll enjoy it.
Have you ridden at Mountain Ride before? If so, would you go back? Why?
I am a associate of the park. The park itself is amazing. So many trails and so much activities.
Yes, I have to make sure I get back there and do some riding and camping sometime soon.
Do these parks stay open during the winter?
Love the videos and info glad I found your channel a lot hidden gems you would never know thanks for all the info

Awesome video!! I'm one of the volunteer staff
That's awesome! Thank you! I have to get back out there soon.
Mtn Ridge is only 30mins from me. They have 3000 acre's. The one thing I like was the last time I was there it was one way trails
Like that fact as well, limited two way areas are clearly marked, which makes for a more enjoyable and safer day for sure.
Where is this in relation to the Hawk Watch site on Lambert Mountain. My cabin is just East of Daly church.
Its west of Indian lake. I do not know where those other two landmarks area, I don't know the area that well.

Good video
Thank you!
How hilly was it? I only have a Honda 700-4, and I take the whole family. So big steep hills make me nervous.
