There’s a Brutal Deathcore band out of the UK called AOAA (Annotations of an Autopsy) check out their 2007 song called “Welcome to Sludge City” you’ll love it I promise! 😉
You're welcome! Dave, always love riding out at AOAA, we might be there this weekend filming again. If you have new news, would lvoe to catch up and interview you and hear whats new at AOAA - missed you last time we were there filming this episode! Thanks for sharing it!
Hey quick question on protocol for indicating riders behind you when you come to others coming the other direction. Are you to indicate just the number in your group or how many you think are behind you? Historically I’ve just done my group but sometimes there are others close behind and it’s not always clear to me exactly how many are back there.
I usually do how many are behind me. Our group has a unique set of riding order - sometimes, I move to the back to get a different camera angle versus filming the back of the same SXS or ATV. We switch it up now and then to make it fresh, so usually it how many are behind me.
In other areas like Hatfield and McCoy - you signal how many folks are in your group... the other group will signal what they have. It works pretty well, until you come across the guy riding by himself that just waves five fingers at you to say hello. :D
I only see it listed as ATV, UTV, and bikes, so I would check and see if they consider them dirt bikes (1) Pass per Motorcycle/Dirt Bike is all they say. I'd give them a call just to be sure. Unsure how the scooter or minibike definition holds up there. Most likely it would have to be a registered vehicle is my guess, but check with them.
Have you been to AOAA lately? We enjoy the trails! Tell us what you like most about AOAA!
Daily pass option, cheaper rate for kids under 15, marked trails both for direction and for difficulty.

which side has less rocks? eastern or western?
Eastern is slightly less rocky.
Are dirt scooters welcomed

Now it hasn’t been long at all but to this date Tackett creek is the best riding I’ve done!
We tried to get to Tackett this trip, but wasn't in the cards - we will revisit in the spring.
