Once you get in his space and you start pressing butans, doing cambos and blowing him up, he takes it all and hopes you drop cambos or he's still alive so he can try pressure you from afar again. 3. He has a meh-so-so matchup against most of the cast outside of shotos not named Ken (because Ken's game is all about blowing it up inside) and Zangief. And even then, the Sim player still have to work hard for those wins.
It's because Arturo played the matchup beyond perfection. He kept mixing up between Yoga Fire and his limbs to keep Snake Eyez out. One bad limb could be hit with Lariat and Zangief is in. One bad Yoga Fire could be met with Green Hand or a jump in and Zangief is in. One missed anti-air and Zangief is in. And once he's in, he's like a psycho ex because it's almost impossible to get away from him.
I don't know why Snake Eyes ever thought Zangief could compare to a formative Dalsim? o_O I knew his Evil Ryu was a better bet and he would've probably won if he played with him from the start. SMH

I wholeheartedly agree. I think it was kind of disrespectful for him to take advantage of E.Ryu having a good matchup vs Bonhan but when Arturo stepped up he didn't even care to switch to a better character. He didn't respect Arturo at all.

I came 2nd place in a local tourney cause they failed to adjust when they realized they couldn't defend against my new characters with their old tactics. Moral of the story, know when to switch to an alternate; especially when you're clearly at a major disadvantage.
Erskin Hansen a lot of that happened in top 8 as well. Dieminion's Guile wanted to retreat to the corner so much that it went to Fuudo's favor. And Fuudo's reaction time is near instantaneous and works with his Fei Long who can pressure all day with great normals and keep you in the corner. Dieminion didn't adjust and got bullied in that match up.
***** LRN2 play a zoner that has to commit. If your reactions and placement aren't on point, you have no defensive options and you take *ALL* the damage coming in from whiffing when they get inside your personal space.

Sim v. Gief is a 5-5 match-up. In fact, Snake Eyez has the better win ratio against Sabin and F Champ. He just got out played.
