I'm partial to Larry, but I enjoyed the video. The problem with matching players from different eras is that the rules and type of play varies enough to almost make it an apples to oranges comparison. The 80s were a much rougher era while the modern game is much more offense-oriented, especially beyond the arc. But that said, I would have had Larry win because I think he would adapt well to the modern game, while KD might have more trouble in the 80s. But as KD himself said, unless we can open a rip in spacetime, there's just no way to know.

I was going to say the same thing. 1v1, KD's height, length, range, bag, and handles couldn't be stopped by Bird. But in a 5v5, Bird's court vision, all-time great passing ability, and ability to see the other team's plays before they happen make him more impactful.
@@jordanjenkins1671 Don’t forget you couldn’t guard Larry either so it made his court vision even more lethal moreover his defence doesn’t get enough credit for the amount of plays he was able to disrupt with his IQ, he frequently stripped the ball from players, not to mention if we used the new deflection stat with Larry I’m almost sure he would be top 5 all-time he had a ridiculous amount of deflections from seeing the plays before they happened, AND he almost averaged 1 block for his career he’s only .3 blocks behind KD which is impressive for an unathletic guy who used to go to the bar for beer after games and chat with Boston locals at the bar 😂
