our trip is from 25th october to 1st november. do we require heavy woolen clothes? also seeing other replies i’m assuming we won’t be able to see any snow.
Yes you would require woolens as the temperature has already started dipping. Although you may not need warm clothes in Srinagar but Gulmarg would be cold especially in morning and evening. And who knows it may be an early snowfall which will make things very cold here.

No its not mandatory to have snow shoes or snow jackets and there is no guarantee of snow in september. Snowfall normally happens after December

I don't think there will be snow everywhere but yes may be at some places. If there will be snowfall between 1-5 December for that I can't answer as I can't predict future.

You won't find snow in october unless it's an early fresh snowfall. We cannot forecast snowfall months before. Keep a watch on weekly weather reports and also our coming videos. We will update accordingly.
