Also I absolutely love the choice of they did for the credit scene, The Living Tombstone’s Five nights at Freddy’s song is one of my all time favorites
I said the same thing. As a film student, soundtrack is a ten, BUT NOT ENOUGH JUMPSCARES! I gave it a four out of ten, enough though I played the games, I felt like u gotta understand the lore.
The film was pretty good. I’ve been enjoying it more and more on every rewatch but it still doesn’t quite match the magic the first four games had. I have very high hopes for the second movie cause Scott mentioned that he has been listening to the critiques people have with this film so I’m confident that movie 2 will be amazing
I personally thought it was strange that Vanessa had such an active role in the movie whereas in reality she just acted as a programmer in the last couple games- she also didn't really add a lot to the movie in my opinion. It would have been better without her temperament and accusations. For the lore aspect of things: I understand the movie can and should deviate from the games in terms of timelines. People don't even understand the timelines often. However, one universally accepted fact that the lore and games are completely based around is Michael Schmidt / Michael Afton getting revenge on his father for killing his siblings. I overall thought the movie was pretty cool though
I want to say the reason it's more comedic is because the series isn't really seen as scary anymore and they didn't want to try to make it something it wasn't and end up trying to be scary but failing?? I'm not sure, I definitely feel this movie is trying to everything but taking on so much makes it lose it's identity.
I feel like this movie was made more for the fans then any of the critics so they went a bit to light hearted with it however I see it didn’t really recreate the spirit of the older games because that would extremely difficult but nevertheless the movie was quite good
I feel like they had to put the soul of children in show becuase they were jsut kids. But in my opinion. It did feel like there needed more horror and jumpscares but the storyline was unreal and the characters made me feel safe like they did when I was a child and the performance was everything (execpt abbi love the gyal but man.) summary jsut wish there was more horror and jumpscare or more time for springtrap
Totally agree, could've been a bit better. I haven't gone into a lot of FNAF EVER but I really agree with all this. Still a real good movie, liked the story personally
also the pillow fort scene was to incapsulate that the animatronics are still kids that are finally getting the chance to play with a kid after over 20 years of nothing.
2:24 to be fair the spirits controlling the animatronics are kids and they were just fooling them so they can get closer to Mike’s little sister

Yeah, for an outsider coming in the movie comes across as clunky
Great avatar! You look like a corporate dude that lets his secret inner novice out on RUclips in between meetings lol
That works perfectly for me wanting to work for Nintendo in the future! Thanks Carlos! :)

Oh that is tremendous news. Yeah, I really loved this movie too! It’s because I love FNAF so much, I was so hard on the movie.

Scripted Novice content? I’m so here for it.
More where that came from! 😆
@@NintendoNovice I sure hope so!
I still haven't seen it. Is it worth the trip? I do enjoy jump scares, like in the game. So the lack of them is disappointing
Honestly The Mario Movie could be better
I think it was better
@@NintendoNoviceyou said Mario movie was better than fnaf movie (*_*)
@ElainiPerez is that a hot take? 🫢
