Good question, if your car speakers can act like normal bluetooth headphones then it should work, I've just never tried it, next time your in your car download slacker radio app or Pandora app from the app store, or your IPhone music, then just sync your phone like I show you in the video then push play on your app (make sure bluetooth is connected and on) and hopefully you get tunes, if not then bmw figured something out to make it so it doesn't work. Let me know if it works for you.
My car has the bluetooth option, some bmw's might not have it but it should come almost standard in all E65 E66's. My friends BMW doesn't have it, but it's a 3 series 2010
Hello, You might not have the bluetooth feature on your BMW. What year is your car? My buddies 09 3 series doesn't have bluetooth and my 06 does. Normally I would think that feature would be standard for 7 series. They do make after market kits, I believe in the description box in this video are some links.

I am having the same trouble as Sareiviseth. I have a 2006 750i sport and when I go to the settings screen you indicate it does not show menu item for phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If not I'll just live with it and enjoy my ultimate driving machine, which it is. Like this more than my Porsche.

No unfortunately you can't stream bluetooth music with this car, only bluetooth phone audio. There might be a hack where you could reprogram the car to stream bluetooth music from Ipod, iphone, internet radio etc.

There might be a hack where you could reprogram the car to stream bluetooth music from Ipod, iphone, internet radio etc. The way to do it is others on RUclips have videos where they pull out there radio and insert a Aux cable in the back that plugs into there iphone's or other smartphone to play internet music or ipod music.
