Hey I have doubts related to application deadlines :
1) I'll take my german proficiency test in April (TestDAF)
2) I'll give testAs exam on 22 april.
But it takes time to get results and some universities close their applications in may and now this aps thing 😭😭😭.

You have to complete your 13th year in India only .Testas exam is just qualifying test for visa process in aps. Hope this was helpful.

Hello Bharat, some universities have test as as admission requirements instead of studienkolleg. It it a good option to go for it.

on the website of uni-assist it stated that APS certificate is needed for applying. The problem is that you can apply for APS certificate only after getting your class 12 marksheet which is around the end of May. After that you apply for the APS certificate which further takes 2-3 months to get(minimum) and after that you apply to the universities. So till that time, the deadline application for the winter semester passes which is generally 15 July. How should we tackle this situation.(Or you can correct me if I have incorrect information)

No, JEE Advanced Qualified Students are exempted of TestAS.

But to get the APS certificate , they are asking for the transcript of all the semesters , I'm in my final semester which will be ending in june and haven't gotten the result for 7 th one , In this case , do i have to drop an year or i can still get APS certificate without submitting transcript for all the semesters

Yes I am same as you I am applying for German course and I just gave the exam last week in English. If your university require TestAS in German than you have to give the exam in German but for Aps certificate you can give the exam in English or German.
As explained by @Prit,
check with your university if it requires the TestAS exam in German or not.
If there is no such criteria, you can give that exam in English.

Testas is required for APS certificate. Very few Universities are giving admission based on TestAS. Other than that, either you have to study in Studienkolleg or Complete your bachelor 1st year in India in order to get admission for bachelors in German.
Not all the universities have made TestAS compulsory but you need the result in order to get the APS certificate.
Other than that, there is no additional requirement for any competitive exam.

TestAS is for Bachelors in Germany and from Winter Semester 2023 TestAS is mandatory.
It was only waived off for the Summer Semester.
It is mentioned in the Bachelors checklist that you have to submit the copy of the score of your TestAS exam.
