I would like to see videos on use of these grills, and actual go through of features of them. I’m looking to replace my pit boss 1000 and I’m thinking that deck boss may be it as I never seem to use the upper racks. Two things I don’t see and don’t like is the lack of pellet dump and no ash/pot removal option.
Hey, fellas. I'm looking at picking up my first Recteq smokers here soon. Question for you, though. Are there benefits to having a smoke stack/chimney over vent slits? On the fence between the Backyard Beast and the Flagship. Hearing the smoke stack can be more beneficial to have by improving airflow and can help retain heat in the cooking chamber. Plus help be more weather proof to keep rain out better. Thoughts? I appreciate it.
I ordered a patio legend 410 over the Labor Day sale and it was delivered the day my first son was born. He came a few weeks early! I just set it up today and ordering pellets now. Can’t wait to give it a go!
Almost forgot, the silicone is falling off inside the hopper so that's mixing in with the pellets. This can't be healthy. Not too bright with this idea.

It's now a main focus on how hot a SMOKER can get. How well can it smoke??? If I need a hot setup, I use my kettle. Main focus for a smoker is smoking period. By the way, I have a 700.
