    ഇന്ത്യൻ സിനിമ എന്നാൽ ബോളിവുഡ് എന്നാണ് പുറത്ത് ഉള്ളവർ മനസിലാക്കി വച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. അതൊന്നു മാറി കിട്ടിയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ നമ്മളൊക്കെ ലോക സിനിമകൾ തപ്പിപിടിച്ച് കാണുന്നപോലെ നമ്മടെ മലയാളം സിനിമകളും ലോകം കണ്ടേനെ

    • @Bornagain0911
      @Bornagain0911 Год назад +8

      No. Thats a wrong statement. There is beautiful, not so beautiful, and ugly. This applies to people, art, things, etc. What matters is acceptance. Acceptance by ones self and others. An average looking person is always average looking. Beauty shouldn’t be a criteria when treating a person. Afterall human is human and everyone has to be treated equally. Nobody should worry because they are not as beautiful as the celebrities. This is not because beauty is in beholder’s eyes, but everyone is important and special, and under the skin, we all are made from bones and flesh.

    some of my favourite Genre - women movies
    1)Uyare -Parvathy (Powerful story of a woman who faces an unfortunate event in her life while she is about to become a pilot and how she fights back)
    2)Thira - Shobhana (Again a perfect movie for women. Shows the right form of women empowerment ie a lady doctor’s fight against human trafficking)
    3)Helen - Anna Ben (Survival thriller, filled with hours of tension and uncertainty)
    3)Kappela - Anna Ben (Girl gets acquainted with a guy through a wrong number and the events that follow)

      Uravasi has been in the industry for a long time anf has never taken a break. But bollywood actresses like Deepika and Anushka Sharma are still working, acting and producing movies. Even Kareena Kapoor is still there. South film still is very dominant. Most production companies are by men and they've been here for decades while women are always replaced every 5 years or aren't given priority or spot light they had in their 20s

    • @ireneab6349

      This title of “lady superstar” has an underlying tone of misogyny. Please don’t use it. It suggests that a “superstar” is male by default. It is as bad as saying “male nurse”, “female engineer”, “female pilot”. Adding gender to a title or profession sucks because it suggests that the default already has a gender specified. “Superstar & lady superstar”.

    Definitely... Even Darshana and Anna Ben are actresses who could be added to this list. We must also give due credit to the Malayali audience who have always supported actresses with talent without looking at their beauty... Its really interesting that the importance given to acting in Malayalam movies is so much that I have yet to see a film in which Nayanthara looks as deglamourised as her look in "Manasinakkare" or "Raapakal". And let us not hate Annie for her comments on Nimisha... She also was a victim of the ideas that we all were brainwashed with and more so because she herself was an actress and part of the showbiz industry herself, its only natural that she thought she had the experience to tell Nimisha about these things.. But later towards the end she does acknowledge that Nimisha's approach is different from her own and encourages her to break stereotypes... That shows that she also learned something new from Nimisha. So let's be more considerate... peace out...

    Shout out to all the Malayali men who wholeheartedly accepted and supported these beautiful women without a second thought. At the end of the day, their reactions and continued encouragement are what helped launch these movements. Credit where it's due - their ability to look beyond conventional physical appearances, or rather redefine them through their immense support, deserves recognition.
