No. Thats a wrong statement. There is beautiful, not so beautiful, and ugly. This applies to people, art, things, etc. What matters is acceptance. Acceptance by ones self and others. An average looking person is always average looking. Beauty shouldn’t be a criteria when treating a person. Afterall human is human and everyone has to be treated equally. Nobody should worry because they are not as beautiful as the celebrities. This is not because beauty is in beholder’s eyes, but everyone is important and special, and under the skin, we all are made from bones and flesh.

This title of “lady superstar” has an underlying tone of misogyny. Please don’t use it. It suggests that a “superstar” is male by default. It is as bad as saying “male nurse”, “female engineer”, “female pilot”. Adding gender to a title or profession sucks because it suggests that the default already has a gender specified. “Superstar & lady superstar”.

At the end of the day, their reactions and continued encouragement are what helped launch these movements. Malayalam cinema is a reason why I feel beautiful without hating on my insecurities. I realised as long as there is a purpose and character for a female role, she doesn't have to be glamorous to make an impact. Made me realise the same about life.
Mollywood had Karthika in the 80s, Parvathy Jayaram in late 80s & early 90s and Meera Jasmine in 2000s and now Niimisha Sajan now. All were natural tan women.

I really appreciated this society waking up and being mature
❤
Colourism/racism in India predates to colonism with its roots in aryan and mughal era
I'm from Kerala. It's not the beauty standards here. These actresses are all always facing body shaming in Kerala. As a keralite our beauty standards were followed in old Malayalam movies
Go back even further to the Theory of Evolution :))

Shout out to all the Malayali men who wholeheartedly accepted and supported these beautiful women without a second thought. At the end of the day, their reactions and continued encouragement are what helped launch these movements. Credit where it's due - their ability to look beyond conventional physical appearances, or rather redefine them through their immense support, deserves recognition.
You should specially mention the courageous directors who welcomed/casted the actresses without makeup...
Epic video bro.. much love to u for covering this topic and bringing it to the lime light.
Hey nice video and good message. This Annies kitchen episode was seen in so many other videos.. That was an utter flop show and the actual celebrity stood to her belief..that was much commendable..that said malayalam film industry rocks .. Its very natural in most of the movies and no hypes
well said brother,very good content
Damm !! This man has got crazy word play skills 💫♥️♥️♥️
I wish each and every cinema director and producer (be it in tamil cinema or any cinema) would learn this thing from malayalam cinema, I'm so happy for my neighbouring brothers and sisters being so mature in life perspectives and doing a very good job in preaching it to the world!
True!
Sathyam..keep up your good contents bro...❤❤love from kerala❤
I think u missed Samyutha Menon
I think in our Malayalam male actors are fair and women are dark :))😀
Samyutha not now bro😂 and male or female fair or dark doesn't matter the matter is acting
She’s not dark by any standards . She’s Wheatish in complexion
Malaylam movies always show real skin clr.. Thats impresses me. I have brown skin.. I alwats feel bad about it..Bangladeshi ppl love fair skin.. After watching Malayalam movies and so many people i am following them (mallu)on insta.. I love being me..♥️🇧🇩 mallu movies are great
great job Jinto
Malayalam cinema is a reason why I feel beautiful without hating on my insecurities. I realised as long as there is a purpose and character for a female role, she doesn't have to be glamorous to make an impact. Made me realise the same about life.
@kochikame363we love ബോളിവുഡ് because of production quality, scripting, etc... There is nothing for skin color
Thankyou for sharing the difference between Mollywood and Bollywood❤
It will help everyone to change their thoughts about Mollywood❤🎉
This video deserves more recognition..well said bro
beauty is temporary , talent is immortal
You earned my respect for this content 💯
Appreciated bro ❤
What wonderful content! Thank you!
This is the "awesomest" video I have seen for a long time, inspiring at its best!
Bro.. what a video..❤ I was listening so carefully that I didn't skip any part of your video.
Mollywood had Karthika in the 80s, Parvathy Jayaram in late 80s & early 90s and Meera Jasmine in 2000s and now Niimisha Sajan now. All were natural tan women.
Karthika & Meera were dusky & pretty. Parvathy was fair-skinned/ wheatish, not dusky.
Sadly we dont have a single darkskinned actress!
@@JaiD0427 I think in her younger days, Parvathy was dark Skinned. She got lighter through the years
How could you say that Meera Jasmine was dark skinned.Meera is a fair/wheatish skinned lady lol
Highly appreciate you for this beautiful video! ♥️
I am thamil but Malayalam movies are so natural love it ❤🥰🥰💗💖
Mollywood portraits the real life characters on screen...the movies are relfection of kerala society...thats the reason actors(male and female) never fake(glamour) themselves with makeup...🙂🔥 thank you bro for sharing ur opinion...
products like fair and lovely have been exploiting fear for selling their products
Very good message you have given through this video.
Acting skills and good plots are getting priotrized in malayalam cinema unlike bollywood 💪🏻❤️
Nimisha Proved herself 😎Hmm, Annie doesnt miss even one opportunity to expose her lack of common sense...sad!
❤️❤️❤️
❤️👌🏻
For the topic you choose to discuss,,, u own my respect bro
Woowww man. What an awesome video. Appreciate it alot❤❤
