    We start out in the shop, taking a look at all of the build options and features (inside and out) for KiShadoWalker’s Mack F700 / Brockway cabover.
    We then take a short drive, delivering some Pilsbury Flour from Beaumont to Longview in Texas. The trailer is Dro Modding’s Utility 3000R, and skins came with the truck and trailer. Look for Richard Brown’s skin packs - he has designed packs for both the Mack F700 and the Utility 3000R.
    Hope you enjoy the build and drive, and let me know if you have any comments or questions below!

    This channel will be doing several things, including looks at various trucks, trailers, engines, and other mods in ATS. It will also feature some flights in either X-Plane 12 and MSFS - maybe even combos in the same video. It will be heavy on the RP, showing viewers how to get creative with the game.

    That is a cool trailer, best things about it are the the back doors open to see the load, and that old Thermo King reefer unit. I really like the Mack option on that Brockway, its a good old Work Truck. Options for fiberglass C.B. antennas and Delete passenger seat would be on my wish list for next update.

      Both are really cool for sure. No one that I know of displays cargo in a van, so one of a kind. I’m going to be driving that F700 for a long time.

    I've had my eye on the F700 for a time, because I like Macks... especially old Macks...
    There's a saying in some of the Mack forums, which goes along the lines of "all you ever need is a 300hp Mack." Fury's nine-speed is a great gearbox, and those old Mack 'boxes have super-wide gaps between the upper gears but lots of gears low-down. It's like a six-speed 'box with an extra set of low gears. The nine-speed is great for vocational stuff, like hauling a heavy bulldozer out of the Taylor skyscraper construction site just north of Dallas on the 75.... Oh there's an idea. I did that recently with another cabover...
    As for what I've been doing recently, I've been enjoying the new International 9400i, the Alaska North to the Future $20 map, and combined with Grimes Frosty Winter Mod, is a wonderful experience. Mmm. You know I think I need to start publishing the Discord server I use mostly for some realistic Convoy driving time.

      Yeah, I always do pretty well with the Maxitorque transmissions. It’s true, I do feel like I get can more out of a Mack compared to an Eaton Fuller with the same number of gears. That 9 speed is essentially a 6+3. I also built 2 versions of a twin stick 6 speed, especially a 5+1 (TRXL107 and TRXL1071), and even though you’re only looking at 5 highway gears, it gets along pretty well. And to be realistic, always using an engine in the 300’s in terms of hp.
      I haven’t had a good look at Alaska to the North. Am I wrong in thinking you basically just get one long road for $20? Or is there more to it?

      @@freebeardgaming there's more to it. I've some content about it over on my channel (shameless plug haha) but this is what happened when I tried it in the winter: ruclips.net/video/YDwCaaBiGys/видео.htmlsi=bQSzAkD5aObZlAC3

    I'm new here and I have a question. Everytime you stream whether it's Flight Sim or ATS, do you change the setups from flight yoke to steering wheel and vice versa or do you have a two computers for both sims?

    • @freebeardgaming
      @freebeardgaming  Месяц назад

      In the beginning, I had the wheel pulled out in front of the Flight Sim gear, and I would move the wheel and pedal setup out (attached to a stand) when flying. Now I keep them side by side on the same desk - desk is approximately 5’ wide. We’ll see how well both sets fit once I get my ATS dashboard with gauges and buttons finalized, lol. I’m using 1 computer for both, and I just rearrange the monitors to best fit which lever setup I’m currently on.
