@ you don’t have Aldi’s everywhere, there were first introduced and remain mostly in Texas, maybe alone or two in neighboring cities. But yeah, could have been updated as well.

@@D_in_DC I think people were upset because you had to drive unusually slow because of the physics and because even at very slow speeds, losing complete control and jack knifing is sometimes hard to avoid, making it “impossible” to deliver. I agree with you that it’s supposed to be challenging, but at times it was impossible to deliver in my experience. I had to abandon jobs twice, driving on a small curve around 15 mph. Maybe they just need to back off on the physics effects a bit? Your thoughts?

@@D_in_DC and my idea to use chains was a realistic approach to mitigating the risk of losing control, just like in real life. Ultimately, it’s both a realistic approach to an issue and also something I wanted to share with others who were too upset about how strong the physics effects are.

@@freebeardgaming Well, I've never been stuck in the slightest with stock trucks or Ruda trucks. I love the WW physics.

@ awesome, good to know. I wonder if what is causing loss of control for some people has to do with 3rd party mod developer’s tires. I use Jasper’s and Smarty’s tires and wheels quite a bit. Are you using stock tires?

@@freebeardgaming I use Smarty's almost exclusively and Jaspers sometimes. Never use stock wheels and tires.

@@AWLBZ interesting, good to know. So it seems that there is a limitation with the truck itself, either that or how the truck works within the latest version of the game. Never had this issue prior to 1.50

Good to hear Norman. I also created an updated tutorial recently. The code is a bit different to allow for a true twin stick up to 6x4 (no range selector or splitter needed).

Hey thestonytony! I like both. The detail with Pizzster is top notch. Ruda’s is the best value and is better on frames overall. And Ruda’s gives you 4 variations (378/379 and 388/389)

@freebeardgaming chain mod makes a huge difference and it looks great you can do single and double 👍🏻👍🏻

@@NPC-Gamer that sounds like a mod conflict. Make sure the map mods you have are in proper order and that all of them don’t inherently conflict. Most are fine, but I’m not sure what you’re running in terms of map mods. I haven’t tried them all. If you’re sure everything is in order, don’t forget to close out Steam completely, open again, and verify all files from within Steam.

@ you have more then enough head room. I’d say it’s the mod or worst case your 4k camera. Most likely it’s the mod. Most these mods have been unstable since the new update.

Good to hear, I still have to make a run up to Prudhoe Bay along the pass. I’ve seen people making the run and swear the chains help. After testing in Winterland, I believe them now.

Yeah it seems to always drop in that same spot, still cool animation. And if you’re doing it for the first time, imagine the surprise. Loving the Alaska map though overall, great edition to the sim

@@Gmak_06 make sure you’re not using Sound Fixes Pack mod. That’s a common issue. Also keep in mind that Zeemods’ Audio Framework doesn’t work with all trucks at this point. They have to be added by him.

Yeah, all gauges but 1 work. That gauge is fully functional, but it is a fuel pressure gauge, and ATS doesn’t provide that information. I didn’t know that until it was already installed.

No promises that it will work with ATS Expansion if the yard that you buy from Frankenstyle overlaps with ATS Expansion. I have purchased only select yards where I know ATS Expansion doesn’t have any models or yards. San Angelo and Tonaslet work fine with ATS Expansion installed. Probably a lot more of their yards as well. If it came down to it, and I wanted yards from Frankenstyle, and they overlapped with ATS Expansion, I would run the yards in a separate profile without ATS Expansion.

There are ways in Windows to assign file types to open by default in certain programs. The first time I used these types of files, I manually selected “Paint.net”. I then had a dialog box that promoted me to check a box to always use that program with these types of files.

For the truck, you have to contact Corey Watson on FB. Link to his page in video description.

1.5.3 is auto installed if you have your preferences set to “always update”. Just close Steam out completely, reopen it, and it’ll snag the update for you. If you’re talking about Dom’s truck, look in emails. He sends emails with every update to people that have purchased his mods. If he hasn’t, contact him directly

Appreciate it Mark! Yeah, I say we mix it up a bit and see if we can get some fresh content. It seems that most people are in favor of that, and it’ll give me an opportunity to cover more unique content - especially when there are periods of downtime between updates and new stuff coming out. Should be fun, just need to get my Flight Sim rig/area all worked out.

Hey Bubba, Merry Christian man! Cool, I’ll get some other content in the mix, and we’ll see where it goes from there. Yeah, I want my content to always be fresh and informative. It’s getting harder and harder to do with only 1 game, so maybe this makes it more interesting for everyone by branching out a bit.

This software is pretty good in both IFR and VFR, though definitely stronger in IFR. It’s a work in progress, and now there are several other companies diving even deeper into this area. Some with AI ATC. Work in progress, but very promising still.

I just downloaded the recent version of the map (when he updated it to work with 1.53). I didn’t add anything that I’m aware of, just appears like that. If you have the paid and updated version, I would contact the developer and see what’s going on. You should be able to see these locations as well. Only other thing I can think of is you might not have the update Alaksa/Promods connector mod. Maybe that one is out of date? Not sure just offering an idea to troubleshoot it.

its a 4 pin connector cable one of the 4 wires got cut cause the wires are lil short for the travel of the stick redone the connection with a piece of wire and works well

@@FXDBOB I use a Logitech. It’s been through the wringer - it’s old, and I’ve made some tweaks to it, knowing it won’t last forever. I’m not necessarily looking for a different brand. Logitech has served me well, but if I’m gonna to buy another one, I’m looking at the pros and cons of different brands to see all the pros and cons.

@@freebeardgaming i started on logitech and never ad issues with it haha the feeling of the moza is really nice the product feels really good but it as this lil issue where the tiny wire from the 4 pin connector gets cut im still happy with it haha merry christmas
