I was amazed that long wheel base and Long nose truck was able to get into that loading dock without doing a blind side. I never mind doing a blind side back, as long as the truck got really good mirrors like on the FLX 359, SCS W900, or the Astro 95.
@@dand3975 I like the challenge too, but I admit I’m horrible at it. Good mirrors help, but the fact that it’s called a “blind side back” means at a certain point you just can’t see anything. I did have to do a couple pull ups to get ‘er in, but sometimes a visible u-turn back works better for me than a blind. It’s obviously set up that way in the game to challenge you and almost force a blind back, so I can appreciate that as well.
When doing a blind side, once I get the rear trailer wheel passed the parked trailer in the right mirror I crank the steering wheel all the way left so the truck Jack knives, when you can see both tandems out the passenger side window, center the steering & wheel pull forward past the point of seeing the tandems out the window, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, grab reverse & that trailer will slide right in that hole. Works good for me in a long nose or cabover. I can send you some pictures on the discord how I do it.
Great video brother and a very detailed review of Zeemods. You two should collaborate at some point ! Getting to 2k milestone ! Great job bro. Glad to see you getting there. you really deserve it. Keep on trucking
OMG Chilly! Much appreciated! I’m glad that my videos have been able to help you. Let me know if there’s anything you want to see reviewed moving forward.
Didn’t really see much of an announcement on the horn selector pack, I just noticed when I went in to update all the other stuff in the ZAF. I’ll check the 3406b update. That wasn’t advertised as needing an update, so I haven’t touched it since initial installation.
Wyoming and Colorado high winds in real life will tip over trailers if under 32,000 to 38,000 pounds in the box. Question is. Will high winds come in ATS and ETS?
Many versions of ATS back there was a physics mod & settings, where trailer would become very unstable in the rain and start to jackknife when using the trailer brake (Johnson bar) too slow that truck down. I can't get that to work no more in the newer versions but if the trailer is empty and you break with the trailer brakes the trailer tandems will start to lock up.
Would be nice if all of that was modeled. I want to know what I’m doing wrong and have a realistic situation, so that I can learn to fix it. Subtle things go a long way. I’d also like to see visible damage on the truck /trailer.
For some reason when I load up jonruda modded Kenworth truck, the interior sounds doesn’t work. I have to select another Kenworth then switch back and it will work. Anyone else have that issue or know a fix?
@@Brooks1418 only thing I have heard is that going between Peterbilt and Kenworth Interiors sounds, you have to exit game because of the way the files need to load if you’re looking for the Interior Effects to kick in.
@ yah not sure. Even if I save the game in the current Kenworth, when I load back in, game sounds doesn’t work until I switch to another Kenworth then back to jonrudas. The other Kenworth is a mod as well so idk
That’s odd, not sure what’s going on, unless there’s some mod conflict. But then again, usually it either works or doesn’t in that situation. Ot sure what to recommend honestly. Maybe try updating the truck, selling the old one, and doing a rebuild. Or try to download the engine again?
I love both Jon Ruda and Zeemods! Unfortunately, I think most zeemods are not being updated regularly so unless you're buying a compatible version, you're taking your chances whether it's gonna work or not. It's only 6$ so not much of a loss anyway, but still... : /
@GenericWhiteMale-ty5zc Do all the mods work for the current version of the game? Looking at the mod descriptions, most of them are not compatible for 1.50+
It everything has been updated to g5 to work with the entire ZAF at this point, but the interior packs and engine sounds still work in game. Just not yet with the entire Audio Framework at this point. But he is still planning to update them all to the new system, each one just takes a while. But it’s worth it in the results of what he has updated
Personally, I think Zeemods messed up the new W900 Interior Sounds effects audio. First, the air brake sounds are weak compared to the old sounds. Second, the engine volume is too low compared to what it was. Before, when I rolled the windows halfway down, I heard a change in the airflow sound. Now, I have to roll the window all the way down to get just a little change. Basically, the engine and exhaust sounds are too attenuated, especially when compared to other trucks.
Recorded from a newer kenworth...if he lived in the states or Australia, than things would be a whole new level. But I think he dulls sounds down of his own personal preference
Hopefully with this new update to the interior packs the engine sound will sound normal. I agree though, I've stopped using the interior packs due to how significantly low the engine sounds became. I had to turn the volume up significantly but that made the interior sounds ridiculous.
The setup isn’t very complicated. There’s a manual for everything, and once it’s setup, it makes way more sense in how everything was developed. I do use the seatbelt, engine fan, and (when applicable) setting the reefer. For me it adds to the realism a bit more.
Do you have the separate mod “Sound Fixes Pack” activated in your mod order? If so, remove it because Zeemods’ Audio Framework doesn’t play well with it. It also requires one of Zeemods’ G5 Interior Effects packs (Peterbilt or Kenworth). Let me know if that helps.

Awesome video. This engine is my favorite

Yep for both the peterbilt and kentworth I have to grab an scs version, start it and then load the ruda truck for the interior pack to work.
