My Book: "Black Lives & Brown Freedom: Untold Histories of War, Solidarity, & Genocide" (by Kirby Araullo) bit.ly/2PHxTIE
    About Kirby:
Kirby Pábalan-Táyag Aráullo is a renowned Filipino culture bearer and currently the National Coordinator for Culture and Heritage for NAFCON (Nafcon National Alliance for Filipino Concerns). He is a Dátû and Lakan by blood, a direct descendant of the last Paramount Kings of Luzon (of both Lakandúlâ of Tondo and Rája Matandá of Maynílâ, who are also of the Sultans of Sulu and Brunei, and of the ancient Mahārājas of the Majapahit Empire). Dátû Kirby's upbringing exposed him to the contradicting worlds of traditional politics and grassroots activism.
Kirby is the co-founder of the Bulosan Center for Filipino Studies at the University of California, Davis, and has been teaching Filipino people’s history and writing in indigenous Philippine scripts (Baybayin & Kulitan) for over a decade. An alumnus of UC Davis, Kirby has also started his graduate studies in the field of history at Harvard University, and on International Human Rights Law at the Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium. He is a visiting professor at various colleges in the Philippines and a research fellow with Sínúpan Singsing, a publicly-funded institute for indigenous advocacy and the study of Kapampángan language, history, and culture.
Dátû Kirby is well-rooted in his culture and passionate about his heritage; he strives to decolonize Philippine history and democratize Ethnic Studies through knowledge and play.

The invaders always changed the function of the building according to their wishes, and it's a fact that I did not make it up in Spain after the Andalusian era. most famous mosques were changed and which was converted into a cathedral. I'm sure many buildings in the Philippines that Spain claim are relics of previous kings, the most obvious example is the paoay church which is completely not in European style and in Javanese Buddhist style

The Ilocanos forgot to burn that down when they were colonized. I'm sure the what is now Paoay Church could possibly be a Hindu or Animist Temple before the colonial era.

The most interesting historical information was that old Manila was already a stone walls (kuta bato) not palisades. I read that only from one historian Spain just built up the old walls using the same foundation, same stone materials. That should be emphasized esp by the Intramuros Admin, instead of propagating the fake news that Spain built the walled city of Manila! Another interesting info was that the pre colonial Pinoys already had small cannons in their arsenal. Although we learned that in history books but not to the extent that cannons and "rifles" were already used by the warriors. Time to put to rest old myths and legends, written by the victors.

hi Crush. I wonder if you're in touch with the people of Kasaysayan Hunters on their efforts to halt the construction of an international airport on a possible ancient mega-structure in the bays of Bulacan. It has these long thick walls with black sand filling the middle of these structures that stretch all the way to Binuangan in Manila bay, pasay and pasig. Their group also said that in line 7 of the Laguna Copperplate, the Kingdom of Binuangan is mentioned.
Last year they talked with local governments and orgs and Im not sure but a suggestion may even have brought up to tap san miguel to support the archeological research.
But san miguel is doing the airport project.
Also the vast mangrove area in that part of Bulacan is a thriving ecosystem.

Makes me wonder too what's being held back from public knowledge.
It might be the biggest discovery so far in the history and early civilization of the country.
