Predictions - Future fashion & wearable technology (ISCF - Clean Growth)

This Future Fashion film uses examples of what currently exists in fashion tech to illustrate how the seemingly impossible is already being achieved, and what this means for the future. From a current invention - a cloak that changes colour and pattern in response to the weather, to a cloak that in twenty to thirty years’ time could make us invisible!
Presenter Emily Honeywell, from Innovate UK’s IC tomorrow programme, expands on this theme: “to look 20 years into the future, it is hardly possible to think what our 'wearables' will be like. We are now at the point where technology is moving at such a speed that it's capacity to enhance human capabilities and create magical design almost outruns our imagination!”

Technology outrunning our imagination?
So where do we go from here? It appears that we are now at the point technological progression is at such a speed that its capacity to enhance our human capabilities almost outruns our imagination around applications.
No matter how outrageous we are in our visions for the future, we are at a very exciting time now where the gap between tech and our imaginations has significantly narrowed. We are now at the point we are beginning to make our wildest wearable dreams come true.

The future is here, this new technology can open many opportunities to work or use this kind of clothes. Just imagine, this could be the future of gaming too, using this clothes to go into the VR world and feel certain things it's going to be game changer. But all of this makes me think about prices, how much is it going to cost? Will it be accessible? What's the cost of making it? Anyways, we are living in the future. This is revolutionary.
