I would like state that in the 2022 version it is very important to set ON the option "Format Button/Button/Style/Text" in order to write inactive buttons' names and keep "Format Button/Button/General/Title" option set off. Otherwise is not possible to Ctrl+Click inactive buttons. Bookmarks seems not to work properly but the issue is in inactive buttons.

On each occasion, when creating the in-page and site nav panel, the selections I had to use to get the bookmarks to properly work were each of "display," "current page," and "all visuals." When using your recommendations, they didn't work for me. Upon update, the prior bookmarks created would save to the new update, so clicking on each advanced me to the most recently saved update version. Obviously, I don't understand the options well enough. Scratching my head about this but I'll figure out the disconnect soon enough. Thanks again for taking the time. Thanks for your kind words!, When visuals are hidden, the slicer selection applied to them cannot be retained. In order to solve this problem, you could separate slicers based on what fields you use in your visuals within each page of your report. DATA is not selected to avoid capturing the current filters on the data SELECTED VISUALS record only the selected visuals so that the bookmark won’t affect the others

Hi, I have to connect button to button. How to do that. For example I have defect in process in 12 months and DPMO for 12 months. Defect n DPMO are 2 button and there are sub button or say multiple button under defect for chart like FN error chart, FP error chart. Also few chart for DPMO with multiple button under DPMO button. However unable to link Defect button to error button like FN n dp button. I had tried grping them n then create bookmark but it's not working. Can u help here

Great question, when you click on a visual to cross filter and hide that visual, the filters are cleared. Here we use bookmarks and visibility to hide visuals. As a work around, you can place a slicer on the report for the user to filter the required field. Hope some improvements will come up in Power BI soon to handle this limitation.
Sir should i hide all the charts on the same position where we have created our shape and button because when i am trying to unhide then chart is displaying on same position where we hide them..

Glad you like it, You need to use Ctrl Click when you develop the report, this method cannot be modified. Once you finalize the report to Power BI service, only single click is sufficient. Hope it’s clear ?

Nothing worked for me either. Spent hours on this doing it over and over but the bookmarks never actual allowed for switching back and forth using the buttons.

You need to use Control button only in Power BI desktop, not required in the service.

Use CTRL + Left Click when you want to click on a button
If don't want to use CRT+CLICK,
JUST CLICK on button to change the visual, how i do that.
You only need to do it in Power BI Desktop, once you publish, you only have to click once without CTRL in Power BI service.

I found the answer! You click the 3 dots for each Bookmark and uncheck “Data” and that excludes any filters the user had applied 👍🏼
