I wanted to make him read that his videos really helped me with my struggle of chemistry so I commented on his most new video that time. I didn't have to explein anything to you but here we go...

    I am a nontraditional student. I started college at 38 - that's 20 years after graduating high school! I basically forgot all math lol. We are currently doing this and I was really struggling to get it, but your explanation really helped. It's honestly crazy that the education that I'm paying so much for (well, my employer is mostly paying for haha) isn't helping, but a free RUclips video does. Thank you so much!

    For the sum in the few last questions, you can also use Sn=n/2[2a+(n-1)d] . You explain really well, thank you!

      Sn=n/2{a + [a+(n-1)d]}
      The a+(n-1)d is equal to An.
      So we can also modified it to Sn=n/2(a+An). It's the same formula that this video have been taught

      Actually, I prefer the one used in the vedio. Because it reminds me that I am taking an average of the terms multiple times(n times). That way, it's easier to remember it.

    My pre-calc teacher taught me the sum of arithmetic sequences as Sn= n/2(a1+an). Your explanation makes so much more sense. It's funny I always come here after a lecture to get a better one.

    You teach like a thousand times better than ModernStates and Peterson's combined, but is only the average college professor that teaches slighly better than most college professors across the nation combined.     MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for another awesome and basic introduction to Arithmetic Series and Sequences. These topics are common in mathematics and all the science fields. In Calculus II, there are multiple test that are used to determine convergence or divergence.

    I like to compare the arithmetic sequence sum with Gauss Sum, which is by the way where the formula came from: Mr. Johann Carl Friedrich Gauss, a brilliant mathematician that defied so many math teachers...Great video, very complete. 🏆🏆🏆
