I got my D11 about 10 days ago. I did use it twice. I don't have any quality issues so far. I found your review is fair especially the part of different speed modes. So, people complain about the motor is not strong is correct. But I did not pay for a premium bike. I just paid a budget ebike and I got a budget ebike.
I have the fiido m1 built like a tank I love it so much so that its become my only transport. replacing my motorcycle which I have now sold. and to be honest I find the 250w motor more than enough never even have to change gears. The m1 can be unlocked just gives you a few more kms
Bought two. Company wasted weeks asking for videos of faults etc. Then said talk to sales and they tried to contradict everything and just get rid of me. Main problem that one might not realise at first is that bikes wear down and when you do have a problem the worst thing you can have is a situation where the supplier has no interest in after sales. Avoid this company.
Mine had issue with the headset being super loose, seatpost slipping, seatpost breaking, wobbly/bad connection handlebar joint. Not a great quality bike TBH
Interesting. To be fair, it's asking a lot to design this and get it right without a ton of r&d. I read somewhere that Bosch sunk... well my memory tells me £2 billion ... that is surely more than it was? But anyway, difficult to compete when the the battery specs are changing all the time. Then again, £1000 is not nothing.
*this one has issues with the seat post breaking. It can't be unlocked and it's slow, small motor. D4s is better, has more torque and can go up to 35kph* D4s is only 18 kg as well *I just added a 12ah battery in parallel to my d4s and get 90kms range on mostly throttle* People. In the fiido group are selling this one to get a different bike.. They're not happy with it. So not worth 1000 bucks.
Yes i really dont like the idea of litrully sitting on the battery either. If it ever did catch fire you would probably be burnt before you noticed anything was wrong. For that reason alone i chose the D4S instead recently.
Its a great bike and a really good design but it's got a very short reach and if you're 6 foot you're knees virtually hit your hands was the only reason I never bought one
I have a bike with this spec: Bosch Drive Unit Performance CX (75Nm) Cruise (250Watt) - it gets me, an average size being, up any hill I can throw at it. More expensive, much bigger, but just a brilliant transport option. In an ideal world though, I'd like this with the same power and range. It may come (it may not)!
Fiido's pedal assist is the worst I've ever seen! It's not pedal assist actually, it just detects that you are pedaling (after quite some time actually because it's very slow) and it just gives full power!! no matter what assist gear/mode you 're on.. assist gears/modes only define different cut-off speeds for the motor so it stops when you reach that speed.. just awful!
My issue with this bike how do you secure it properly ,if I take it to the shops the shop won't let me take it inside I can't leave it outside with a weak lock or just the wheels locked I live in high crime area
Why is that the bikes issues? That would be the same for any bike!? Buy a good lock and secure the frame to something immovable. Then secure the wheels to lock as well
Many will disagree of course that for $1K this e-bike is worth the money. In this price range majority of the foldable, step-through even e-bike will outperform this otherwise European art design. As with cars this e-bike will not have a visible market since Americans want power, performance, especially in variety of terrains and grades. And this pretty e-bike will not deliver, since it’s el. system is underpowered, lack of suspensions, lack of 20x3” wheels/tire width, too compact tight frame for toll riders and most importantly it’s not a universally convenient step-through for all ages and ability frame. The disappointment is also learning that it’s assembled in China, and in the same time considering high quality?
Good luck if you puncture the back tire. I did on my first ride and there is no easy way to remove the tire. You can't disconnect the motor cable, like many e-bikes, unless you do it from the controller box and take ALL the cables out. Maybe you could check it out to see if you find a better way? Fiido support weren't helpful and they were aware of the issue. Bad design. Thanks!
@@dr.navidsoltani4326 Nope. Fiido sent me a video of them doing it and they disconnected all the cables from the box and took everything out. They left out the part where they have to route the cables back in 🤬 Hopefully I won't have to change it too often
Thank you very much for your support to Fiido. Due to safety considerations, the current product does not have a quick-release connector design for the motor cable, but our engineers have been designing better solutions. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to communicate with Fiido. We will listen to your suggestions carefully.

torn between fiido d11 and paselec with 350 w and 500w. my concern is also weight and folding size so i can carry to taxi when suddenly rain or exhausted.. some of the street in my place are not allowing scooter and ebike. should i buy this bike? or aim for higher wattage motor?
Could you find a more powerful hub motor wheel to fit that would work? I love the frame and battery placement. But that motor would not be powerful enough for me.
How long do Fiido take to deliver in EU/UK. I paid for a D4 almost 2 weeks ago & it seems impossible to get any useful info from Fiido on where the bike is or when it might arrive? They just won't tell you anything of any use. Gave me a DPD tracking code that is not recognised. I suspect it's in a ship container on the way from China. No idea? Anyone else had problems? I think even some of the reviewers waited a month on delivery?
@James Smith Yes a pity as it looked like a good bike and I had checked around a bit before I ordered and never saw any warning message about them not delivering or responding to customers so all very strange & good to get the refund for sure. Bank was pretty helpful. I hope other people get their bikes or a refund or avoid Fiido as I will be in future as it was just a hassle.
@@jamalibrahim3187 I’m not sure which model you’re referring to. I checked their offerings, and even the lightest model C20 is 24kg. Bikes like D11 are below 20kg and more suitable for hauling up stairs in subway stations and getting with the flow in rush hours… The few kilos make a big difference. 24kg is like the checked luggage limit for planes; it’s basically impossible to lift it for an extended period of time.
