- In this video, I review the Beasts of the Mesozoic line of Build a Raptor figures. I've made two custom figures after the main characters in my dinosaur fantasy novel, 'Iara's Crossing'--Iara and Tlactoc. These customs were fun to paint and create. I hope that you enjoy this video!
'Iara's Crossing' is a new dinosaur fantasy novel by me, Diana L. Pomeroy! You can get a copy of the e-book and paperback on Barnes and Noble, Kobo, Ko-fi and Lulu now! My Linktree: linktr.ee/warriorfeathercreat...

Wow where do u get paints? Also cool raptors I'm gonna paint one when I get 9ne
Hi Jesselyn! Thank you for the comment! I get my paints from Michaels Arts and Crafts Store--I use Liquitex and Apple Barrel acrylic paints and DuraClear Matte/Gloss sealant. The Build-a-Raptors are fun to paint and I hope you enjoy customizing your own!
Nice patterns on the raptors!
Thank you!
Are these 1/8 scale or 1/18 scale?
They are 1/6th scale according to the website
where are these still in stock at?
Hi! The Build a Raptors are a part of the Beasts of the Mesozoic Raptor Line-I believe they were from a Kickstarter. creative-beast.com/product-category/beasts-of-mesozoic/build-a-raptor-sets/ The figures I am presenting here are of my own design and are OOAK. They are not for sale. I hope this helps!
What paint did you use?
I used a variety of acrylic paints and gesso. I think the brands include Liquitex and Apple Barrel. Standard acrylic craft paint I've had for years. Water based works better on plastics and vinyl than oils.
