After nearly a week of hot summer days (about 100F/ 37C) the thunderstorm finally arrived. Heavy clouds, countless lightnings, a continuous of thunders and some wind.
It sounds better if you have a nice sub and play ¡¡¡at least 480p!!!
Recorded 1st Feb 2013 with a Sony T500, 720p HD Stereo (Mpeg-4 AVC/H.264), Buenos Aires, Argentina
Bien nublado y con muchos relámpagos, un continuo de truenos y algo de viento. Después de casi una semana de calor a casi 37° en Buenos Aires, la tormenta finalmente llegó (o se formó encima).
Se aprecia mejor si se tiene un buen subwoofer y calidad de 480p

Nice to see a real video of a storm. No editing, slow motion, or someone talking over it. Just the footage, plain and simple, like being there.
Yeah absolutely, and filmed as much sky as possible too, instead of half land and missing most of the action. Great video.
only time I sleep like a baby is when I can hear the rain on the window and the thunder in the background. I was lucky enough to be in a nice hotel in India with work when a huge storm came along similar to this. i sat outside under a parasol with a few beers and just watched the sky. something I'll never forget.

Now this here is the best video up to date. I have a hard time trying to sleep, but playing this video helps me go right to sleep within minutes. You did excellent work with the video scenes and the sound.

Great video but there is nothing like being there. We had a rare intense storm about a week ago. One of the best and the first lightning of any kind in ages for us. Unfortunately all the strokes were obscured by cloud. Thanks for posting.
i like those storm where you get the unexpected and i like nonstop lightning so great video. I like how the thujnder never stops and is very loud. I would love to be in there.
Great video. But for all that lightning I hear very little sound. And I don't hear rain but bacon frying in a pan.
There's rain obviously u don't hear it because you just don't know what rain sounds like

Put this on your comp to your T.V on Repeat and go to sleep, the lights and sounds will put you to bliss fast.

I have lived in the north west 10 years, this is more lightening then I have seen in that time, the weather, has changed. Thanks it helps, I was out in 5 minutes of listening.

Watching this because last night We got a huge thunderstorm and one bolt struck my neighbor's tree and it literally exploded. There's a bunch of clean-up to be done today. Branches and pieces of wood are everywhere in the backyard.

we have that lightning too in the netherlands but worse land louder . and i think its awesome but last summer weve had big hail balls that left holes in almost everything . but still its awesome mother of nature

Yes, in fact, I recorded it because it was a very uncommon storm and wanted a "souvenir". Here, usually, we have some minutes of thunder and then rain. This time we have a preamble of more than two hours of non stopping lightning and thunder before the heavy rain. Thanks for watching.

Better than your video's, but i suppose your to busy to film any while spamming and watching tinfoil hat videos
appreciate your effort. however i would suggest a tripod or some flat surface. even is you are using a smart phone without a quarter/20 screw input, there are lots of cheap holders of cell or smartphones to attach to a tripod or monopod or even to a railing,pole andything, with a clamp
I have tripods, one for DSLR and the other for compact cameras. At that time, it was not possible to use them.

Don't know why, but for some reason from the camera's perspective, It looks like bombers bombing the city. Or it can be explosions and gunfire.
In our house we cant do that because we believe that it attracts gadgets so it can be explode like tv like that...

This was captured in the middle of Buenos Aires city, you may hear some background noise, even a distant train horn can be heard.
