After watching this series, I had realized this should have been Anime of the Year instead of Devilman Crybaby. This was able to hit me on such an emotional level, after the first few episodes almost every Episode had me crying. Even this final movie’s Sub plot had me crying far more than the actual part. I’m fulfilled but if I had one thing I wish was added, was seeing Violet having a family. Would’ve been amazing if that girl met Violet’s child.
Watch other anime from Kyoto Animation, netlfix only showed it but it was produced and animated by kyoto, all their works are spectacular, they are ageless
Take a look at Wikipedia, it got several awards and was nominated for many categories too, especially the second movie. I think that say´s pretty much about the quality of the anime overall.

The guy of the postal and the end is the Son of Violet and Gilbert, the thump up, the Doll logo and his eyes and hair are the clue. Is pure subtext but is there, pure cinematography
This ending not only told us about violet evergarden, but how her works become legend for next centuries.
I'm a 18 yo old guy. Oh my goodness. I remember crying uncontrollably at this particular moment. I was sobbing like a baby, man. 😭
No other media has ever made me cry as much as this show has!!! This is one of the best and most beautiful animes ever created.

Tears every time this scene shows up, the letters are the most powerful thing a person can show someone love.
I'm so thankful that Netflix acquired Violet Evergarden. Guess its time to watch this movie again and celebrate one of Netflix's best decisions!

The movie where it showed her child and grandchild had me sobbing. It’s wild how the letters Violet wrote were her legacy. She wasent shown to be known as the maiden of Lidunshaftlich she was known as the Auto-memory doll who wrote beautiful letters
I went into the movie not knowing what to expect and within the first 10 minutes, I almost bawled my eyes out from this.
Thank you for reminding me about this beautiful series

It's quite a coincidence for the audiences who also played FGO Japanese server as Violet's VA also voices Morgan, Artoria's older half-sister too! Artoria's VA also voices Ann's mother as well!
Después de ver ese episodio lloré, no esperaba que las cartas fueran a ser para su hija, fue una gran decisión ver este hermoso anime.
Este es sin duda uno de los capítulos mas tristes de la historia del anime.

Cuando empezó la película y ví la casa dije : se me hace conocida 😮 y cuando ví la muñeca me termine de emocionar por qué ví que si retomarían a Anne o algún descendiente de ella. ❤❤

this episode reminds me of a movie called "Sabtu bersama bapak (Saturday with Father)" which tells of a person who was diagnosed with a disease so that he didn't have long to live, because he didn't want to leave his two young children, finally the father made a lot of videos containing messages for his children after he was gone. .
This was the episode that made me cry...It's simple to see this, but it's hard to understand it.. 🤐🤐

Culpa de este episodio estuve una semana sin poder ver a mi madre ni llamarla, era acordarme de este capitulo y se me derramaban las lagrimas pensando en mi madre.
Justo cuando salio el siguiente capitulo pude obtener valor para llamarla por telefono y disculparme por estar 1 semana incomunicado con ella. Aun que a cada rato tenia que preguntarle algo para que siguiera hablando y no se me notara que estaba llorando por el simple hecho de hablar con ella :')
