Here is my first piano suite :-) And it contains my most favorite film theme of the movie the terminator. Composed by genius Brad Fiedel. This suite contains the themes of Terminator 1 and Terminator 2. Both composed by maestro Fiedel!
The Terminator theme is the best theme ever in film music history. People who know me know that this is my favorite theme. And it cannot be beaten that is one thing I know for sure as it contains everything :)
In this video I used pictures from Terminator 1 and Terminator 2. If you like suites than you should check out Schurpselbacke's youtube channel who makes the best film music suites! No, thank you for uploading it. I was talking time signatures with my mother, put on this, paused it after about 5 mins to play her the original soundtrack version, and she was like "put that piano one back on" (after the track ended, she liked the original too). It's awesome dude, and you should feel proud.

Terminator through this music captures the inevitability of the death of the human race and all that we all belong to , the sadness of losing all that we cherish in a war that we cannot win......and yet we are called to stand up , to fight , to hold on to hope that maybe just maybe , through courage , sacrifice and the will to win- we as the survivors will one day stand , victorious yes but the celebrations will be with tears and not shouts of joy.
We as men will stand and fight anything that comes in our path!! Nothing will ever stop a man who doesn't want to be stopped!
Even if a Terminator catches the meaning and worthness of life, it's on us to overcome our badiest properties. There are two things that distinguish humans from animals: Humans can forgive. Humans can show grace. So, I'm hopeful for our race on this planet. Let us forgive each other. And be graceful. This is the meaning of life.

While there are many soundtracks I consider masterpieces, this one always slips past my mind, and when I do remember it, I am reminded that it is so beautiful and elevates the story to a whole new level. It makes the stakes seem so real. It makes you so invested in what’s going on.

Mostly 4/4 for the love theme. For the 1984 theme or the 1991 theme it's a lot more complicated!

anyone else think like me that this guy should be doing music for the lastest films out there , just love his music cant praise him enought 10/10
This is why the new Terminators sucked. Dont care what others think but this piece of music for me creates some serious feeling. They put this in but far to little of it. Look at most sequels/reboots/remakes and ask your self what are they lacking?90% of the time the answer is the score and soundtrack.
I thought the music in t 3 and Genesis wasn't bad case in point at end of t 3 as the nukes are going up that music was really good and in Genesis I believe it's called better days it's only good for about 30 seconds still great tho

the terminator is my favorite movie of all time, T2 is probably 2nd or 3rd
it's the music that makes it so special, the recent terminator movies lacked the great music

You are totally right about the movies. Next to the music I prefer the first two Movies much more due the darkness. I think the follow up Movies weren't really scary or dark. Why dont you give it a shot? I started playing the piano due to this music as well:)
T3 was shit, and Aliens is the best film by James Cameron. Terminator is second, T2 3rd. Titanic can go sink in the ocean.

Looking back @ all the great movies I've watched over the years, one thing made them great... The soundtracks! Soundtracks are what made most of these movies from the terminator to superman to Beverly hills cop the list is endless and the music timeless!

I think the rhythm (=the cold machines) is very machinery. But the melody is the emotion of the lost of the human nation (as in your words). I never thought about it this way. Do you mean in what key? Well this suite has a lot of key changes. But fore most the main theme is written in D minor (start of this video and the end). I hope this helps.

for sadder or more meloncholy sounding songs i love the piano above all. it just has such a beautiful sound that can make all sorts of very vivid images flood your head that can beat even the best drug trip in my opinion (btw i don't due any form of drug save the drug prescribe for my epilepsy). guitar/steel guitar, piano, bagpipe, and organ are my favorite intruments

juggernoud1 any tips for a person self training and only has youtube to guide me lol on how to improve my left hand and right hand in being in sync. i can play left fine then right fine but play together and its like missions impossible 4. some maybe training ways u did when u started for playing both hands together. anyone have any tips be super welcome to share
