Loving these two movies, 1 & 2, the music captivates the emotion sand struggle one/people would go through facing extermination from a force that is brutal with no empathy or feeling and losing loved ones while still surviving the battle. The theme has a feeling of sadness to it but also a feeling of determination while rising to face the threat… it’s beautiful and scary all in one!

Terminator 3 is a powerfully moving concept wrapped in 2000s cinema doodoo. Terminator 4 asks the hardest questions of all, like “what is humanity” and “are we simply the sum of our experiences, or are we actually sentient?” IMO terminator 4 is the best of the worst terminators. The TV show is missable, the games(there’s 3) are so generic that I didn’t even know they existed until a week ago. Genesys was awful on every level but I do want to see “pops” as a Liquid Metal terminator. And the newest one? The newest one is everything wrong with terminator in one movie. If you want to make a terminator movie simply look at dark fate and do the opposite. “A terminator felt bad…” gimme a break. There’s so much social justice in that movie that it makes me sick that James Cameron was even involved. What love and support the public had for the franchise was terminated by dark fate. There is some gold in the shit pile, but it’s few and far between. My dad took me to see terminator 2 in theaters(I was only 3) and to his surprise I didn’t cry once, and actually watched the movie. My dad said: “it scared him that his 3 year old son was grasping a concept like this, and enjoying it”. My life has been such a fucked up ride that terminator 2 is my feel good movie. “If a machine designed to kill can learn the value of human life, then maybe we can too” I still have hope that one day we will.
i like to think that T1 T2 T3 and T4 are alternate canon timeline. and T1 T2 and Dark Fate are Main canon timeline. people hate it because james cameron wasnt involved but christian bale did a really good job playing John connor, honestly a tear shedding performance atleast for me.

I agree with that 100%. Terminator from 1984 is more of a horror/sci-fi action movie, while Terminator 2: Judgement Day from 1991 is a pure sci-fi action movie. And the theme songs of the respective films express the same. ✌

T1 and T2 are masterpieces. Each part has its own unique flavor, atmosphere and feelings. Don’t know why but we have no such a movies at now days.
