I try to have the best examples of every clothing item as well and really enjoy it. Its really hard justifying wearing super expensive and rare stuff and just trashing it, but at the same time if its your favorite article of clothing and the one you want and love, who cares what it costs, wear it! I have my favorite pair of hidden rivets that get tears every now and then, I don't mind, just stitch it up and move on. I know you said you get annoyed with that process but I think its really fun and I've been this way for 3 years. Maybe Ill grow out of it but for now I'm in love with not caring and wearing my clothes. The key to having a great wardrobe is not caring for it so much. At the end of the day, not caring is the biggest flex ever.
My other problem is I’ve put on 30 lbs (which I’m very happy about because fitness etc. is very important to me) so I need like XL everything which just isn’t realistic for me
altho I definitely do have a decent amount of stuff I’m keeping and want to get I think now I’d rather just sell it and go on trips & buy some repros I can wear and not worry about
I agree with you in general but i try to have really good quality clothes. Brands like momotaro or real mccoys , etc... so i can have clothes for 10 ot 15 years without them ripping after 2 wears . But i get what you said :) . Also i have litterally 2 hoodie and 1 sweater help me
i admire the more minimalistic / frugal direction! welcome back
