- Jason Dornstar got his start shining shoes serendipitously one morning at the Denver International Airport while acting like he was an employee at one of the Executive Shine Stands. After this exhilarating experience and earning a quick 40 dollars, Jason went on to be an Art curator for a local brewery in Denver in his free time. A few years later, Jason was offered a full time position Shining Shoes at Nordstrom in South Denver Colorado. He was searching for references to learn from in the shoe shine community and found Mike Wilson on RUclips. Mike Wilson was shining shoes with such a classic and authentic approach to the art of the shine. While watching Mike Wilson pop his rags while Mike listened to jazzy funky beats in his office, Jason was inspired to make a shoe shine video of his own. After Jason created a few videos he soon ended up catching the attention of The O.G. Mike Wilson himself. The small but often cheeky rivalry was then born. Jason still considers Mike Wilson as the originator of shoe shine videos on RUclips and contributes most of his success to the inspiration he recieved from Mike Wilson.
After honing in on his skills as a professional shoe shiner, he was encouraged by his loyal following of subscribers on RUclips to continue creating these videos. A couple of years later, after traveling to Hong Kong to teach the Art of Shoe Shine to future business owners, he made a name for himself in the Global Shoe Shine Community by trailblazing his way top the top on social media. Jason continues to teach and inspire many new faces in the Shoe Shine Community while serenading the ASMR Community with the subtle sounds of the Shine.

Carmine They are Diesel Tatradium boots. I have a pair, love them. They’re about $200 on Amazon.

Over expensiv boots from a mainstream brand where you pay 50% for a the name and not on quality ... Go Red Wing, Go Carlos Santos, Go Wolverine, Go Oakstreet, Go Carmina, etc, etc, etc. Save yourself some money and style and buy real boots. The leather is going to be 300% better than these crappy boots !

First Last Well the Red Wing Iron Rangers with the lugged so,e look closer than the rest, but I’d go with a pair of doc martens if you don’t want a pair of DIESEL boots. I can look up what these are, though.
Here we are, they are the Diesel Tatradium Basket Butch Boots. Used, they can be anywhere from $90-110 yikes, but if you want them new it’s about $110-200. They are designer boots as well, so definitely fashionable. But it’s all up to the wearer, I suppose.
Ofc not. The sole is glued ... not welted. It's closer to a pair of converse than a pair of boots. I do absolutely love the style of the shoe but the price you pay for the quality you have is so bad.

i was thinking to myself i don't think i would ever get a shoeshine for any reason. so i started trying to imagine a scenario in which i would, and i here's what i came up with. I imagined myself as a grumpy old army captain who's been assigned teach new recruits at basic training. I would walk into the shoe shine place and crack some jokes about how im gonna put the boot in boot camp, so naturally the boot needs to be nice and shiny. when i get to the basic training and meet my new recruits, i march in loudly and firmly to really make an intimidating entrance. i grab the most nervous looking recruit i find and throw him to the ground in front of me and i say "you see these boots? their nice and shiny now, not a flaw on them. no damage, no reminders of where they've been. but that won't last long. i guess their sorta like you."
Go get your shinebox...oh wait, you already have it. Nevermind. Well then...shine something! Wait...fu....

What products would you use to clean and polish a set of chippewa 10 inch logger boots? I cant find any way to keep them nice and polished and ive yet to find a shoe shiner that made them rather clean, Side note i do work in heavy construction
