We learned these at school by repeating them again and again, like a song.
It worked well as I remember all of them except "lie, lay, lain" . For some unknown reason, I don't remember having learned this one.
It's a really tricky one Lukasz, because the past tense of lie is lay! We're just done a survey on this and plan to make a new video about it.
Brilliant. Sometimes, even native speakers can make mistakes on irregular verbs. I am looking forward to the part 2. Really learnt a lot since I subscribed the channel. Thanks for sharing.

:-)
Your videos are always great!! I would love you to explain transitive and intransitive verbs one day, those are always tricky to understand! Have a lovely day Vicky and Jay!!
And, as a matter of fact, the video we're publishing today will have a discussion of transitive vs. intransitive verbs.
What I have found the most fascinating since my childhood when I started learning English is that irregular verbs, with all their irregularity , form groups by how they made the past form. It's not completely random. Like rise rose risen and drive drove driven, catch caught caught and buy bought bought, say said said and pay paid paid, tell told told and sell sold sold. There is some number but still a limited number of those irregular paradigms, that observation always seemed so exciting to me.
Yes, Sergey. Recognizing those patterns can be helpful. Thanks for pointing that out.
Thank both of you😘😘😘
Most welcome 😊
Brilliant way of presenting the irregular verbs . The learner can rememeber by reading, listening and watching you acting them. 🤗
Thanks for the endorsement, Roxana. Much appreciated. We're glad you liked this one.
Amazing informative video.
Verbs are very tricky.
Make more videos
Hi Saad Ali. The next irregular verbs video has just been published :-)
This video reminded me the days when I spent a lot of time to memorize the irregular verbs. It was time-consuming but luckily I can memorize all of them now!
LCK LAI, memorizing them is the best route, but using them fluently requires practice, practice, practice! Thanks for watching our our video.
A very good way to remind irregular verbs!
. In grammar school we had to learn them by heart! So I guessed almost all them (I made a mistake about two or three verbs!).

Well done Mona. Yes, we do have to memorize the irregular verbs in any language :-)

Except for 'lie' that was a difficult one for me, I guessed all the verbs! Thanks for making these funny and educational videos! Greetings from Argentina ♥
Hi Miss Sabri, we'll be doing lay and lie in a couple of weeks, so make sure you're subscribed and you've clicked the notification bell so you don't miss it. Thanks for watching the irregular verbs video :-)
for me irregular means unique those still follow regulations:
1. unchangeable
2. o, a, u
3. o, i, o en; i, a, i en
4. d, t, t; n, nt, nt
Yesterday I came across your channel, watched a video of how to pronounce correctly "can" and " "can't", what is the difference. I watched a couple of videos. You explain everything so clearly, super! 😁❤ Subscribed !!!! 👍 I wish you success !!!!
That's great to hear. Thank you Milly and welcome to our channel! :-)

You're welcome⭐
English is tricky sometimes. Lie (rest) is irregular, but lie (mentir) isn’t!
Indeed Claudio! :-)
Hello! do Run ran and run have the same phonetics?
The base form and past participles do, La Botica, (/rʌn/) but the past form is different (/ræn/)
How is the other eye? Did you get it done too ? Where is the comedian kid? Cheers for the lesson. Where about in UK you're from? Bye 4 now
Hi Nigel. This is Jay writing back to you. Yes, Vicki has not had cataract surgery on both eyes and she is very thrilled with the results. She is from the Cambridge area in the UK. And Special Agent Awesome will be back from time to time. Make sure you click the notification bell so you know when we upload new videos. :-)
Hi Madam and sir ,
Could do me a favour?
Could you please tell me what is the difference between ?
What is the nuance? What is the situation?
Early and earlier
Late and later
1)he came to office early
2)he came to office earlier.
3)he came to class late.
4)he came to class later.
Later and earlier means there is a comparison. For example I came to the office later than usual or I arrived earlier than usual. You can say I arrived early or I arrived late without any comparison.
Thanks for explaining this Linda.
Madam ,
Could you please tell me which one is correct?
Can we use interchangeably?
1)His mother always worries about him.
2)His mother is always worried about him.
They are both correct, Mohamed. But the first statement, "His mother always worries about him" in the present tense has a more immediate sense of how his mother feels, where the 2nd statement implies a long term condition of his mother rather than something immediate resulting from some action on the part of the child.
