Julie, you are so right on! In childhood I was taught that if I get any compliment at all I had to be "humble" in accepting same. What rubbish! So I didn't learn gratitude and receiving, I learned I didn't really deserve such compliments and to be ever so grateful if I got on. Whoo boy! YOU are so spot on! thank you! Love and Light!

The timing of this was impeccable. I'm expecting a good investment return. Today, before I have it, I was already thinking about how to help others. I have to stop this behavior because it has hurt me in the past. Thank you for this great advice. I will not make that mistake now.

Hello Julie. Thank you for your counsel. As you talked about receiving money in our bank account, I felt a mixture of joy and fear. As you continued to speak about the receiving, I felt some type of release within, and the tears began to come....and I felt part of the child within me stepped forward out of a slumber. I can't explain the energy that flowed over me. Had such a gracious cry after that. Wasn't expecting that reaction at all. I just ordered your book and should receive it by the end of the week. Oh my gosh, I'm 59 years old and have just discovered that I'm not open to receiving! 2 days ago I was given an unexpected monetary gift. I was immediately thinking of how to spend it - could I buy some shopping or whatever. After much temptation to immediately get rid of the money, and because I had all the groceries I needed for the weekend I managed to convince myself to wait until next week when I needed to go shopping. But thinking back, on birthdays and Christmas if ever relatives gave me cash, or gift vouchers I had to spend it immediately. I now realise, that, in fact, I was in a hurry to give it away because I probably feel, deep down, that I don't deserve to have it!
An extraordinary light bulb moment! I've never been like this with my salary; managing it well over the month, but that is money I'd earned, so felt I deserved it. But any 'gift' has to be got rid of asap. Well, not from today. Julie, I'm quite moved right now, as I've discovered something I'd never considered. I wasn't ready for abundance, as I would have given it away (to kids and family like I usually do) so the Universe hasn't trusted me with the gift yet. But now I know what you have taught me... all change! 😍🙏
We need to teach our children this!

Yorkshire Tea for me! Can't beat it! I firmly believe in manifesting but my issue has always been this: I know what I DON'T want, but struggle to identify what I DO want. I've always been indecisive. I know where I want to leave from, but have yet to pick a solid destination.
OMG Julie, I hadn't realised how crap 💩 I am at receiving, I always bat a compliment back, I gave most of my inheritance away before it had even landed in my bank, I take little time for myself. So lots for me to practice on, thank you 🙏
