I so this every wash day. It's made a HUGE difference in my hair. I use fenugreek oil because it helps with shedding and strengthens the hair follicles. And I add amla and moringa to my deep conditioner. I have low porosity hair too, but I steam my treatments into my hair works amazing for hydration.
I have been natural for several years but have never really got into more natural styles I usually wear it braided but now want to go more simple and really do my own hair completely and you are certainly helping me in my journey Thank you so very much for your tutoring and tips
Hi Paige. I just ordered the deep conditioner and can’t wait to add the honey to it as well. Love your videos they are so relaxing and uncomplicated. Easy and to the point. Keep up the good work as always.
Love all your videos. So very helpful for me. For deep conditioning I use the Shea Moisture Manuka Honey and Mafura Oil Hair Masque. I’m low porosity also so I use a plastic cap then use heat afterwards. Cool down then rinse. My hair is so soft afterwards. Your hair routine is really growing your hair. It’s grown so much in a short time!
I also like to use honey for my deep conditioning treatment, it's a natural humectant and great for absorbing moisture to my hair. As always paige nice content❤.
Another great video! I do not do hot oil treatment nor do I add honey to my conditioner but will def try after seeing this. I need to get my shot together and start posting again. Your growth is motivating!
So, do you do hot oil treatment on clean washed hair, then add deep conditioner on top of the hot oil treatment, so it's like together, or do you apply the hot oil treatment? 1st, then rinse it out, then apply a deep conditioner last im just wondering because I thought if you apply a hot oil treatment then deep condition the hair wouldn't absorb the deep conditioner because of the hot oil treatment would be blocking the deep conditioner from penetrating but I use hot oil treatments before deep conditioning then deep condition and it works i just wanted to know someone else's opinion i use hot oil treatments that are already made so I don't have to wash it out just rinse it out because some oils used for hot oil treatments have to be washed out to remove residue oil🤷🏾♀️
Sometimes I do both. Sometimes I do the hot oil treatment first. I’ll use it as a pre poo. Other times I’ll mix both the hot oil treatment with the deep conditioner then sit under my hooded dryer. It’s all preference. If you find that it works a certain way for you then continue to do it that way.
Hi! I just subscribe to your channel! I really love your hair. I have never done an hot oil treatment, so I think that I'm going to try it. Thank you for sharing!! 😊❤
Thank you so much for this wonderful and easy method, but what I want to ask did you do the prepoo and deep conditioning at once by not washing the prepoo out. Please I am waiting for your reply soonest. Stay safe and have a great day.
Hey Oladele sorry for the late response. I'm trying to catch up to all of my comments but I used both the deep conditioner and oil treatment together. After sitting under the dryer, I rinsed out everything. Hope this helps😊💖
Dear Paige, tnx fr all your videos , bt l wish to ask oo, l v had my permed hair cut off January last year so l can go natural, bt after a year nd almost 3mns now my hair length is only abt 4inches tall wen stretched so u can imagine de length when it's shrunken. Is my growth normal after a year. I feel l m not doing enough.
Hey Olivia everyone hair grows differently, some faster than others. Create a hair routine that you are consistent with and remember hair doesn't grow overnight. You can take a look at my wash day routine playlist to see how I take care of my natural hair. My routine is done once a week.
The honey was from my local farmers market and the peppermint oil I got from my local beauty supply store. You can find the peppermint oil on Amazon. Just make sure it's 100% peppermint essential oil.
I absolutely love hot oil treatment and I always add honey for moisture also use it to mix all my ingredients together 🤗❤️! Ur hair looks nice & juicy 😍❤️❤️!
U covered everything I wanted to incorporate into my wash day routine all the way down to the hooded dryer !! Thank you !
You’re welcome hun😊💖💖

Somo lako zuri nimependa, ila inaonekana matunzo ya nywele ni garama sana 😎

Did you wash off the oil before applying the deep conditioner?
No I left it on and went straight into deep conditioning. So I basically did a double treatment. A hot oil and deep conditioning treatment all in one.
But did you wash before?
Yes I did
@@GlowupwithPaige thanks
Beautiful ❤️
Thank you so much girlie. I truly appreciate your support 💖💖

@@GlowupwithPaige tnx a million Paige. The advice is well taken.
Can you please share the type if honey you used and the peppermint oil used as well?

Thank you😊💖💖 I'll be doing this more often when my hair needs an extra boost of moisture.
Honey can also lighten hair naturally when used consistently
Oh didn't know that thanks for letting me know.
@@GlowupwithPaige Your welcome
Please can I still do hot oil treatments when I still have gel in my hair ? Or I have to wash it out before applying the treatment?
Wash your hair first then do the hot oil treatment.
Omg im hurt you aint say how long you kept it on for😭😭
I kept it on for 15 minutes.
Did you rinse off the oil before deep conditioning
No I didn’t. I did a hot oil treatment and deep conditioned at the same time.
