Leuk man! Werkt perfect.
Some tips from Poland: If some parts we needs to duplicate - blue stuff + tamiya epoxy (Time!) Also I make some experiment with decals. You actually have some sheets for decals, so... try print black carbon fiber in b&w and choose transparent white color. If needed carbon+kevlar effect - You can paint part in yellow color - before. Finally - after aplying on surface I use thinned clear coat on decals - and the result is satin finish with almost holographic look😌 But if You make heavy wet coat - this holographic effect will not be visible - only two colors - maybe grey, silver etc.(gloss clear Tamyia 1:3 x20a - I use this method with a brush)🤝👍
Thank you for your in depth tips Kolarz! Could have done it with blue stuff too. Not sure what you mean by ‘holographic look’ of the carbon fibre. I am pretty pleased how my carbon fibre looks (I do have reference carbon fibre and it matches quite good)
@@hobbyrobby It's looking more deep compared to others. Thats interesting illusion: satin and glossy lines in different ways reflected light - so it's more like 3d effect. Also application on complicated parts is easy (they are thin and better stick on the surface - I also use my old hair dryer in this)
Amazing job with those mirrors, yes i have scratch built before, on my Tamiya camel lotus F1 car i added over sixty parts i think all built out of very little and no after market.
Another enjoyable video. Pacing and timing is good. Very well put together. Nice work on the mirror, regular thing to scratch build bits of extra detail, never done mirrors before tho. As an aside, I use mirror effect stickers that come in some Lego sets for making my mirror faces. Gives a similar effect to the product you used. Keep up the good work....
How to overcome setbacks in a pursuit of perfectionism. Nice result!
Thank you Bas! 🙏😊
These mirrors must be absolute the tiniest mirrors on earth. Good job! Again! Keep it coming.
Thanks Jac! 😊 I’ll try, I’ll try 😉

Dank en bedankt voor je tip! 👍
Dat zijn nou weer de pro-tips waar je wat aan hebt!
Mooi filmpje weer, Rob! Met chirurgische precisie maak je je onderdelen. Volgens mij heb je het kleinste spiegeltje ter wereld gemaakt.
Haha, zou zo maar kunnen 😄 Dank je Arjen!
Nice job again Hobby Robby! Very entertaining ánd educating as well and I think 15 or 16 minutes is just the perfect length (for me at least :-)).
Thank you and this will be the sweet spot in length I guess :)

Currently attempting a 1/12 scale scratch build Jaguar XKR X150 - suspension components in progress!
Wow, that sounds impressive!
Very impressive! Amazing result. Exciting to observe how you managed to build those mirrors yourself.
Thank you very much Arjen, glad you enjoyed it! 👍😊

Thanks David, great to hear that! 👍😊
i was about to buy some laminar mirror , but this japanese film could be the best opt,,
Did you ever make scratch build parts for your car model?
Didn't have to yet, but I do need to repair a bburago that was damaged during moving, so I might use some of the tips!
Best part of modelling: hiding shit from yourself (or in the carpet).
Fijne productie! Top, sub erbij.
Dankjewel, leuk!
