It simply cannot be a coincidence that the uncle showed up unannounced the afternoon before. The following day, the wife is found dead in the room where the uncle is staying, and the father an hour later on the couch. What was the uncle doing there? This was a brutal, violent crime. Not many women do this, especially in the 1890's. Patricide/matricide are exceedingly rare crimes, and even moreso from the daughter. Patricide is an overwhelmingly male crime. Lizzie was by all accounts not only clean of blood, but not disheveled at all, apparently minutes after her father was hatcheted to death. Also, that hatchet is not the murder weapon.
So... is this a sales pitch? Cause that's what it sounds like. "Hey! I found some new evidence. But in order for you to know about it, check out this tv show that I'll be appearing on and will be getting paid to do. Oh, and buy my book!" Already she sounds like just another opportunist desperate for her 15 minutes.
They won't say. There's just a passing mention of a man in the background of a pic that no one knew who he was, but she did. There was no significance to that indicated in this story.
Nope they were not killed with an ax or hatchet, they were killed by the cast iron iron. Lizzy was ironing her dresses that morning and the wounds on Abby doesn’t match an ax! It matches an iron!!
As a matter of fact anyone with good god-given Common Sense would know that's the whole reason Lizzie never left Fall River she refused to be pushed out of a town for something that got so big and was known to everybody yet she wasn't responsible for would you allow yourself to be pushed out of your hometown if you didn't do something that everyone said you did

@@fluffedsquirreloh the man that was seen...this was explored in a previous book. It was allegedly her half brother. Most important was making the claim that Abby died first. Otherwise Abby's family would receive all of Andrew's money and property. The whole town needed Abby to be dead first or all that Borden money would be lost to a different family in a different town. Hence, Lizzie's dream team of lawyers and no questioning anyone in the trial who brought up the man seen that morning by the Borden home. Check the trial transcript to verify.
Wrong again she did not get away with murder and if you did so much research how come you're unaware of the person that actually did do the murders and it was not Lizzy Lizzy had to live with the conviction that she did do it when she was not responsible for the actual murder the person that did do it is real and has a name..
No one else had opportunity or motive. She & Emma inherited what would be $4 million each in today's money. The front door was triple locked, the maid who was washing the windows, then in her attic bedroom heard & saw no one. The sisters were so enraged Andrew had gifted money & a house to Abby's sister that they both moved out for a few days the week before. On their return, Lizzie had told friends that they were no longer taking meals with Andrew & Abby & were staying in their rooms all day to avoid them , as the atmosphere was so bad.
@@sarahholland2600 I don't think Lizzie did the actual killing, but she was definitely part of it. I think her and Emma conspired to kill Andrew & Abby. They all had a falling out and its funny how the girls sold the rental house back to Andrew, (the very one he sold to them for a $1 maybe a year before), and just a couple weeks before the killings for five thousand dollars!! A very good payment for an assassin? Emma would have been the soul inheritor to get any money from the estate, so she had to be completely out of the picture, hence she was at relatives hours away. How convenient for someone who was known to rarely go anywhere. The doors were always locked on the house since the 'supposed break in and theft' So someone would have to have let the killer in, but that is no problem if it was planned. The murder weapon was never found because the murderer took it with them and obviously Lizzy would not have to worry about covering up any blood.. This is only a theory ofcourse, the only thing that is an obstacle is timing. No one knew when Mr. Borden would arrive back home exactly, or that he would return early. So was the killer to stay hiding for hours? Possible, but there was always the chance they would be found.
I just watched the "Meta PsycKicks" Lizzie Borden Axe Murder or Minpulation? Mystery Revealed by Psychic Mediums (ones a Medium and her friend is a Psychic Medium) and they think Lizzie had something to do with it but it was actually someone she hired.
Look at the various facets of the case: Motive? Means? Time? Rage? The killing itself shows it's personal. Why murder someone at 9:30, then hide and wait? Why didn't he/she kill Lizzy? What if Abby is discovered soon after? The house would be crawling with the police and neighbors. No murderer is going to hide with so many unknown variables. The front door was always left open, yet on that day it`s locked. Why would it be locked? Maybe, so no one comes in unexpectedly (like Bridget finishing her window washing) while Abby is being hacked to death? This was done by someone who knew the family routine very well. I have studied and researched this case for decades and have found plenty of physical, behavioral, and psychological evidence that makes it clear that Lizzie is guilty. She was tried the first time for murder on a lot less. Why did the killings take place during the week Emma was away to visit friends? Lizzie is a complex but broken person. not knowing if abby would be discovered what the circumstances would? This was done by L I
I've never rad that the front door was always open . I've always read that it was usually locked, especially since Abby's jewellery went missing the year before, whereupon Andrew installed locks on the internal doors, as Lizzie was the only suspect.
How did she kill Andrew the way he was killed, make the murder weapon disappear, clean all that blood off herself without modern plumbing for 1893 standards, dry off, redo her hair in at absolutely most 12 minutes if you listen to Bridget's testimony. No way she did all those things that quickly. Ever try to clean blood out of your hair, it's not easy with a modern shower never mind trying to clean brain matter out of your hair.
@@davecm1605 How she (if she did it) cleaned herself up is one of many mysteries. If she did it she would have had enough time to clean up after Abby's death. She possibly wore Andrew's coat to kill him (from behind in the open doorway to the dining room) and simply rolled it up and put it under Andrew's head where it was found by police. It just doesn't seem possible that someone (unless Lizzie was in on it) would get in the house, murder Abby and then hide for over an hour until Andrew came home. What a puzzler.
@@davecm1605 that's what i always thought too. How could she have done 2 murders and cleaned herself so fast. They would've mentioned how fresh and so clean Liz would've smelt. That should've been noticeable the distinctive smell atleast i think. Unless the murderer was hiding in the huge house 🤷♀️
