OFF THE GRID would be so awesome if crypto wasn’t able to be scanned by anything (survey beacons, bloodhound scans, etc) and if fits his character and lore. Would make sense if he had some technology that prevented him from being scanned so would be cool if they did that
Super agree on the drone health and passive. Hopefully something comes along to help Hack's survivability, maybe making it harder to shoot out when you're not using the ult so it still promotes counterplay.
I agree with the Ult sometimes being a pain, it’s those tight areas where you want to quick emp the enemy but get your team and yourself included in it that which makes it almost pointless as you have to heal too
Yeah, usually you are able to fly it behind cover and emp safely, but it's those moments where there isn't any cover really and you try and emp and it gets shot out
One things that I noticed as a main crypto is that is better to recall it instantly after you kill the scanned enemy or if it is not scanned because is far away. The less he is out, the more he is alive
Drone needs a shield with small amount of hp and a notification when it's getting shot. Even just a notification that it's being shot so u could recall it quick
@@Heavenz-MTW I use Adobe premiere pro, and on there, there is a tool called “ultra key” and I set the color of the ultra key to the same color of the screen on the replicator in the video and I was able to replace the screen for the next clip that I wanted to transition in. Kind of confusing to explain, but if you look up on RUclips “how to use ultra key in Adobe”, you’ll get a better idea
I think his passive should be that he goes invisible when he goes into his drone. And for his second upgrade it should be like two drones or something.
I don't think its a good idea cause the purpose of crypto is to land is drone in a good area and in a good timing so just being invisible like that is way too op and kill a bit the purpose of the character
Ideas for crypto. Make his ult do 125 sheild damage and stun for 1 second longer But the circle itself is smaller, making it hit less enemies and take more skill but gain more reward. Sounds kinda boring though so here's a cooler idea. When it's not in range of any enemies(roughly the same range as scan), make the drone invisible and have it make less noise, where you know it's there but you can't pinpoint its exact location. This way you can give the drone more survivability. It also makes more sense lore wise too. Building on the passive that makes him invisible while getting scanned, I feel like that's too op so here's some caviates. When BH scanning, instead of Crypto being completely immune, the BH player gets a sign that there's a crypto player in that direction but they can't see them. For Seer, his passive remains the same. When using Seer's tactical, you will still see Crypto but the duration shortens. Also, Seer's ult will not show Crypto's footsteps but Seer will see when Crypto is using his gun. For Vantage, nothing changes cause she's not really a recon legend to begin with :P Finally when scanning beacons, instead of them getting information on Crypto and his team's exact location, they instead get a circle that roughly pinpoints where they are on the map. Edit: had to fix some grammatical errors.
Tbh I completely agreed with you iburi all the way as crypto player about his current state, kits, and perks and they need to stop neglect crypto and buff him, they didn’t even get crypto new animation for his recolor ( it really pissed me off) which show his neglects and they only care about legends play time only. One more to add, deceased his drone cool down to 30 sec or buff hp of his drone

For me, Its perks are good and make it suitable for almost any situation, whether reanimating, seeing how many teams are around without entering the drone. Crypto just needs a little buff to its drone. Put a little more life into it or make it less visible or less noisy. Yeah I love the ultimate cooldown, having the EMP more often is amazing. And the network traffic perk is great as well, but it would be awesome if that ability was just part of cryptos kit in general instead of being a perk upgrade. I’m really hoping Cryp gets some love this next season🤞🏻

This season i have been runnin the perk with the bigger emp and i got to say that sometimes and I also think that the park that calls out squads is just a duplicate to his ability to look at banners if you are in a fight you might not be able to hear the voice line . I think crypto needs a little bath and they need to fix his passive and I also think if you (general) get used to the big emp it will be good. Also keep up the good work 👍
I’ve used his bigger EMP all season and it’s really just unnecessary tbh. If you can time his normal EMP correctly, you don’t need the bigger range at all. The bigger EMP sounds cool on paper, but it’s very unnecessary after using it all season. The 30m radius of the normal EMP is big enough to be effective. And appreciate that man🙏🏻
What annoys me is that people have been saying this for 3 years all those ideas are great and most of them should be in his kit already. I like the skill needed to play him but they shouldn't be scared to have quality of life changes for him
One thing with Crypto, and some other legends, is that the perks for him seem pretty obvious for both 1/2 with a large gap with usefulness (like I think a good example would be Mad Maggie who has pros/cons with all her perks). I think Crypto getting some perk reworks (like maybe a faster Drone recharge, or increase movement speed) would be fair and also small buff would be to let drone pick up Evo Harvesters cause its so odd to me it can't.
I only play recon legends in this game and I try and rotate between all of them (besides Vantage cause she feels skirmisher than an actual recon), but crypto is always my go to. Loving him this season
They need to give Vantage some more recon type abilities honestly. People always say she’s the “weakest legend” and she has a low pick rate, so respawn should honestly consider giving her some type of buff

I feel the same way about crypto regarding the drone, the perks, and the passive. The passive doesn't have to be anything crazy, and the drone needs a bit of a touch up. Lower the sound of the drone and adjust the perks percentages, specially the tier 3 right perk for the scan range. I thought about the passive and I came up with where if you get intel on crypto, he gets intel on you back or maybe if he EMPs you, your HUD and systems go haywire for a time. I still love crypto, yet I'd love to see more buffs and adjustments come his way. 💚(respawn is getting hacked by crypto)
The drone health is pretty bad. The issue is you're not playing the game. I.e. with such low health youre playing keep away with the drone, essentially the drone is a random you're trying to keep alive while also trying to preserve your randoms. My biggest gripe right now is teammates still cant see who you emp you have to make arbitrary callouts but neuro link is supposed to show enemy locations. You can argue its a damage thing but seer and maggie exist soooo.... 🤷♂️. Im really happy you've come around to the lvl 3 banner perk I've been a believer of it since day one and always argued against a larger emp. But the idea of the banner scan being built in is honestly genius. And even if that alone was his passive. Id be happy (for now) great videos as usual. Keeping us crypto mains on the map!!! 💪
Y’all wanna know the funniest fucking thing, they gave fuse a perk to basically tank threw his ultimate and not get slowed. They could’ve did the same thing for crypto, honestly they should’ve allowed cryptos drone to follow him. In the more his drone has a whole fucking personality I mean come on. If that’s too OP the drone should be able to break down into 3 pieces, after one gets destroyed but I feel that would be broken af. I feel like his passive should be if your drone is destroyed your footsteps are silent 15 seconds or maybe immune to getting scanned for limited time only once your drone is destroyed. Perk wise I think they should add immune to Emp damge from ult 😂😂😂
Was watching a crazyrachet video today and he was playing crypto. He low key likes him now but he had a good use case for the drone. Since people's first reaction to a drone is to shoot it out he used it as bait! As soon as they look up and start shooting the drone he would pop out and 1 clip them. I actually like this idea except having to wait to get the drone back.

Also I like your idea about crypto being able to call out nearby squads but it being part of his kit. I've heard lots of ideas tossed around for him but this is definitely one of the best and more practical ones. I really wish they would show him some love
They honestly need to make hack-a-thon a blue perk and give crypto a different purple perk my suggestion is giving him an immoveable small security camera that he can just throw at the wall and it will ping enemies the camera also gotta be quite and small none of that loud ass drone noise. They also need to give him Off the Gird as a passive and buff his drone so it isn't so loud.
As to his perks and abilities, maybe give him a mobility boost while his drone is up. But in your crafty hands it could be a little overkill I reckon 😂
What about if crypto pings a character in his drone or with character it displays/says who the character is playing or how many people are in the squad. Similar to vantage but instead of armour it’s characters idk.
Crypto will forever be the goat but I really feel like respawn doesn’t care about his kit or him. His perks were halved baked when they came up with his lvl2 ones. I personally don’t have an issue with the low pick rate I don’t have to worry about not using him. But everything you touched on at the beginning of this video are exactly my thoughts.
When I look at the perks at some other Legends get and compare them to crypto... It's like they didn't even WANT to code anything interesting. Shorter cool down... Boring. Bigger emp range? Not needed. Call out champs near? Doesn't even work as I have disabled voice lines due to 98% of them being annoying or lame. I don't need bs banter. But of course they code the useful info into voice lines with banter so it's all or nothing when your adjusting volumes. Honestly it feels like every other champ actually got perks and crypto has nothing.
Lifeline gets SELF REZ and we get information that most crypto already have or a ult that is just going to hit your friends more often and still hit the enemy you were already going to hit. Pointless.

Prime example would be fuse. He’s a great legend but doing damage using a knuckle cluster and then giving him a movement buff to capitalize off of it is ridiculous. Don’t you think they could’ve did that with crypto after an EMP? At least give his drone more health. The possibilities are endless. I have a feeling they are gonna phase him out of the game as time goes on.
My respects to those who main crypto because at least I think that any character can do what crypto already does or better (except instantly reviving companions) if you do great things with crypto you can probably do better things with a better character, just my opinion 😅

Yo iburi have u seen that crpto getting buffed in season 21. Theres new perks but the bigger emp and passive is now base kit. Makes me sad tho cuase its a nerf to me, its now harder to capitilize off of the emp
I talk about that a little bit in this video between 4:45 - 5:45 , but I personally think he needs a rework of his perks. I like his first set of perks that offer the cooldown for his tactical for ultimate, but I think he needs new level 3 perks. As I mention in the video, I love the “network traffic” perk that calls out how many squads are nearby, but I would love for that to just be part of his kit instead of being a perk upgrade. And the other perk “network expansion” I am not a fan of at all. The bigger EMP is more of a detriment to you and your teammates because it makes you have to be farther away from the enemy to avoid not hitting yourself while you EMP, and you end up emping yourself and/or your teammates more often. Sure the idea of a bigger EMP sounds cool or whatever, but honestly you don’t need the EMP to be that big to be effective. The normal EMP is already 30m wide and that is big enough to get the job done. So I would hope that the devs take a look at crypto and give him some love with new perk abilities and HOPEFULLY give him a passive lol
I like so much play with Crypto(he's my first love) but when you say " Crypto don't have a passive", i agree totally but he haven't his ult, you can see his entire kit and compare with some other legend, he only can take use of drone, other legends can take use of 3 ability(some have a bad passive, but can use). A time ago i've bring some idea to "rework" Crypto without remove nothing of his kit, just put the drone on ult with doble functionality, like Vantage echo, where she can "control" echo and other when she want use the rocket jump, on drone might be similar press Z to throw, hold Z to throw and enter in drone, when drone is on field and you are not in interface hold Z to use ult, on interface press button to shot to use ult. The rest of his kit is yours imagination. PS: all of this is my opinion to make he more enjoyable or more tacticool.

They honestly need to make hack-a-thon a blue perk and give crypto a different purple perk my suggestion is giving him an immoveable small security camera that he can just throw at the wall and it will ping enemies the camera also gotta be quite and small none of that loud ass drone noise. They also need to give him Off the Gird as a passive and buff his drone so it isn't so loud.
Passive could be you could use drone while knocked. Change in last perks could be you get two drones or you could give drone a bunch of health

What about if crypto pings a character in his drone or with character it displays/says who the character is playing or how many people are in the squad. Similar to vantage but instead of armour it’s characters idk.
As the hacker drypto is, I think he should have the ability to not only scan survey beacons but ring consoles a well
Crypto will forever be the goat but I really feel like respawn doesn’t care about his kit or him. His perks were halved baked when they came up with his lvl2 ones. I personally don’t have an issue with the low pick rate I don’t have to worry about not using him. But everything you touched on at the beginning of this video are exactly my thoughts.

When I look at the perks at some other Legends get and compare them to crypto... It's like they didn't even WANT to code anything interesting. Shorter cool down... Boring. Bigger emp range? Not needed. Call out champs near? Doesn't even work as I have disabled voice lines due to 98% of them being annoying or lame. I don't need bs banter. But of course they code the useful info into voice lines with banter so it's all or nothing when your adjusting volumes.
Honestly it feels like every other champ actually got perks and crypto has nothing.
Lifeline gets SELF REZ and we get information that most crypto already have or a ult that is just going to hit your friends more often and still hit the enemy you were already going to hit. Pointless.
@@larkohiya like I get he has a high skill ceiling and you have to be creative, but it almost feels like they reward brain dead legends to enable them to be even more of a nuisance. Prime example would be fuse. He’s a great legend but doing damage using a knuckle cluster and then giving him a movement buff to capitalize off of it is ridiculous. Don’t you think they could’ve did that with crypto after an EMP? At least give his drone more health. The possibilities are endless.
I have a feeling they are gonna phase him out of the game as time goes on.
My respects to those who main crypto because at least I think that any character can do what crypto already does or better (except instantly reviving companions) if you do great things with crypto you can probably do better things with a better character, just my opinion 😅
You right, other legends can instantly tell how many squads are within 200m of your squad, and other legends can clear other legends abilities in 1 second with an EMP, I’ll stop there but lmao that’s a very ignorant comment😂
Yo iburi have u seen that crpto getting buffed in season 21. Theres new perks but the bigger emp and passive is now base kit. Makes me sad tho cuase its a nerf to me, its now harder to capitilize off of the emp

I talk about that a little bit in this video between 4:45 - 5:45 , but I personally think he needs a rework of his perks. I like his first set of perks that offer the cooldown for his tactical for ultimate, but I think he needs new level 3 perks. As I mention in the video, I love the “network traffic” perk that calls out how many squads are nearby, but I would love for that to just be part of his kit instead of being a perk upgrade. And the other perk “network expansion” I am not a fan of at all. The bigger EMP is more of a detriment to you and your teammates because it makes you have to be farther away from the enemy to avoid not hitting yourself while you EMP, and you end up emping yourself and/or your teammates more often. Sure the idea of a bigger EMP sounds cool or whatever, but honestly you don’t need the EMP to be that big to be effective. The normal EMP is already 30m wide and that is big enough to get the job done. So I would hope that the devs take a look at crypto and give him some love with new perk abilities and HOPEFULLY give him a passive lol

I like so much play with Crypto(he's my first love) but when you say " Crypto don't have a passive", i agree totally but he haven't his ult, you can see his entire kit and compare with some other legend, he only can take use of drone, other legends can take use of 3 ability(some have a bad passive, but can use). A time ago i've bring some idea to "rework" Crypto without remove nothing of his kit, just put the drone on ult with doble functionality, like Vantage echo, where she can "control" echo and other when she want use the rocket jump, on drone might be similar press Z to throw, hold Z to throw and enter in drone, when drone is on field and you are not in interface hold Z to use ult, on interface press button to shot to use ult. The rest of his kit is yours imagination.
PS: all of this is my opinion to make he more enjoyable or more tacticool.

@@gabrar oh gotcha. Yeah when I do that, I’m pinging the banners nearby with my drone, and that reveals to me and my squad how many enemies are nearby. So if you watch that clip again, you’ll see crypto calls out how many squads are nearby after I ping the banner

@@tyrellturner5602 I held my ground and got the horizon one shot, which made her have to push back and prevented the horizon from being in to push in with the pathfinder and ape us. And bruh by the time I saw her throw her ult, I was still putting on a Phoenix kit and wouldn’t have been able to move out of the way in time😂 I see what you’re trying to say but nah man lol
