He very specifically says that he CANNOT let the Nerevarine live and doesn't even pretend that he would. As a sign of respect.

@The Drunken Coward I don't believe Dagoth Ur had the intention to kill the Nerevarine from the start. He does want the power of the heart to himself and can not trust the Nerevarine with sharing that power, but he says this to someone who has slain a countless number of ash creatures and ash vampires (including Dagoth's own brothers) on his way to face him at Red Mountain. The Nerevarine also cured himself of the Corprus, rejecting the greatest gift of Dagoth. If I were a god and someone killed my creations and my family, then turned down my offering of immortality and cooperation, l would question their loyalty, too.
@@mccreeps69 I downloaded a mod a long time ago where you can join dagoth ur and conquer morrowind. It was glorious. It had it's own ending cg scene too. I don't know it is still saved in my morrowind mod collection.

are you planning to make anymore, you are a very decent writer. I recommend making an alternate ending where nerevar (who can be voiced by anyone that would fit a dark elf hero) I always wished to have an option where the nerevar uses his past friendship and memories to really try and reach dagoth ur and refuses to harm or strike him and uses empathy and compassion that surprises dagoth and his almighty, unwavering resolve truly falters and he starts to question his own beliefs then recalls and reminices about old times with the nerevar and pours his heart out about how much he cared about his old friend. after this dialogue dagoth now a bit more grounded and listening to reason still stands by his goals as necessary and that because of nerevars words he will make changes to how he goes about his plan so that it achieves the noble aspects without as much chaos and collateral as he can in honor of his old friend's desires .As for the alternate ending especially for a modder you can choose to defeat him in a way that spares his life by sealing him away or having him surrender because he knows he is beaten completely. Or thru even more dialogue you convince him to completely abandon his goals by debating him and showing him how his plan is too flawed. and a third really interesting option to convince him to let you help him by joining him and convincing him that he has become too crazy and out of touch in his current state and that as his ally you can keep him more grounded and reasonable in how he goes about it, while using your power and status as the nerevar to rally more support to the 6th house, together through cooperation being able to bring a true golden age to morrowind.
I'm cooking up a video similar to that, but it won't end well for Nerevar. I was going to give Nerevar the male Dunmer voice by using the AI. The raspy, gravelly tone can't be copied, unfortunately, so I'm using lines from the game.
