      I just converted mine over to very similar sized box in the back. But roughly 12"H x 38-1/4W, x 28 (?) Deep. But the rear is not completely flat. But this is also for a 2014 Chevy/Holden Spark. I don't know if older, or earlier models change up in the interior in the back. Plus, the bottom floor isn't flat, you will have to add shims on the low side to keep everything flat, and even. I'll post pics/video in a few weeks. Only tools I used was a circular saw, drill, and screws. My set up is slightly different as the slats don't have pins to slide into. I just added tiny braces with gaps. Just big enough for slats to slide into.

      the Chevrolet spark is one of the most reliable vehicle made by GM and Opel in south Korea...on their Chevrolet trax, they use the same engine but with a potential problematic turbo,,,,, I love my 2021 spark! what I would like to see is, Chevrolet making this car slightly bigger and allowing the back sits to fold down completely flat,,, I wanted to buy the Chevrolet Trax and still keep my spark,,, but I am worry about the potential turbo failure,,,,

    Tony, because my car is the same lenth as yours this small yellow one in Tasmania (mine is KIA Picanto!), I have the question for you: those two long pieces of wood in front are based on what place? On a front seats?? ('Legs' are too short for being on a floor). If on seats it could be devastating for seats condition (or for a plastic on a side door). From the back the support is the wooden container with a kitchen equipment, I guess. So, how did you solve the front stability? Greetings, Z :)

    • @TonyFlorida
      @TonyFlorida  3 года назад

      The two long pieces of wood rest on the seat 3:42. This is okay for stability because the surface area of the 2x4 that rests on the seat is large and is wrapped in duct tape. You could always increase the surface area to minimize damage to the underlying seat.
