    This is very wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing it. Could you say what else was served with this dish? I see in the video some other items being put on the plates but I’m not able to identify it. Could you also answer about why using whole spices instead instead of grinding them and if people just eat them or remove them later? I’m not Indian so I have no idea.

      hare krishna they served achar and papar as much I could saw and these 2 items generally served with khichri ...... in tempels many things are used as whole because it saves time and also because the quantity is large so everything will get cooked without any problem and whatever is used here is also used like this whole even in our homes... hare krishna
