So happy I found you!!! I don't think I ever would have except for Junk Journal January. First time I"ve ever joined a challenge and I was watching Meg and other videos pop up to the right and down the rabbit hole I go.
First timer here. Will definitely be watching more! You are such an inspiration! I love how you just let go and create, something I definitely need to work on. Thanks so much.
Thanks so much for watching! The abiliity to loosen up definitely takes practice! If I'm away from my art table for too long I have to almost exerecise those artistic muscles again to loosen up.
I love, love the black and white with all the stripes and squares! So different from anything I would do but I love it! Thanks for leaving a detailed list of what you used and where to find it! ❤
This was such a full and informative lesson on junk journaling, mixed media techniques and basics. Thank you so much, I have a page of notes in my 'inspo' journal I've used for bits of junk journal january 2024!
My first time seeing your video! I love your style! You have so many examples of building the page using your materials! You are my favorite artist this month. I will subscribe. ❤😀
I love that you used many of the other prompts for JJ January ! How clever. Opposites. Stitched, Pattern. Thank you for your great way to interpret Interactive. I've subscribed to you channel
What a transformation, Brooke. I love how you folded the pages creating more interest, something I would never have done, so thank you for that. I love all the black and white elements, some of your fabrics are fantastic.
Thank you so much! This was SO much fun for me to create and I'm thrilled where it ended! Can't wait for you to implement some of these techniques in your own work! 🩷 Thanks for always watching 🫶🏼
When sewing through sticky tape, you can put a bit of coconut oil on the needle. Just a TEENSY bit. It will keep your needle from getting gunky and possibly tearing the paper. Going through duct tape or something it works, then just use a cloth or paper towel to gently dab around the holes to get any excess oil. Keep in mind though, if you use too much oil it can possibly stain certain kinds of paper. Test it on a scrap beforehand.
Love this LOADED page/s!! And the variety of neutral pages in your journal!! Nice to see a familiar face/journaler in JJJ, my first time following along! I've been enjoying your 5 min challenges also and your grid journaling videos. TFS! ❤
That was wild and crazy. Definitely full of ideas. What was that white paint pen you were using. It looked like it made a wide line but I only saw it in fine point.
Very creative. Thank you for sharing. I couldn't get the name of the studio for the black and white tape you mentioned at 7:28. Would you let me know where I could find some? Thank you 😊
