I just loved your content, looking more towards it. Can you make a video on creating a personal website or anything where we can store our projects and display them as our portfolio.
As someone who works in a Data Science Consultancy for a couple of years now, I recently find it slow and stuck at whatever I've been doing. I found this video really gives me a booster in terms of finding new interesting challenges to work on. I also love that you made it easier by sharing great resources of datasets and tools. Thanks for making this video!
Hi, since you have experience in this field can you please advise me : I'm a north african girl currently still studying computer science engineering so i haven't a bachelor degree yet, I want to work to support myself and my family. Is data science a good way to break into tech, can i land a job with no experience, what skills and things i can put in my resume to be considered for this position, if you know better and easier ways to break into tech please share them with me, I'll be grateful!
I just want to thank you so much for this! It is incredibly useful. Being someone who wants to apply for an internship, information like these are invaluable. And your way of presenting everything is so enjoyable, so please continue making content like this :)
I'm so glad I found this video. I am currently looking for a career transition and finishing the Google Data Analytics Professional Certification. I am about to start the Capstone project and along with it I want to finish other projects asap. Thanks for the guidance.
@Chhandomoy I have done that Certification. If you want to discuss anything or collaborate on a project, let me know we can connect. Good luck with the course!!
Hi, sophomore Data Science major at Cornell university. The field as whole is so broad, so this was excellent. I’ve also had a big issue finding a data set that motivates me.
I'm so glad I found this channel. I was taking up the Google Data Analytics course. I'm still at course 2 but I already wanna make my portfolio. I'm gonna follow this as a start. 💕
@@josephegwuatu9386 I finished my course, now working on Capstone case study, I came here to research on creating my portfolio, then I saw your comment - planning about protfolio on course 2! really inspiring! Good luck :)
I have been looking for a career switch in to Tech for some time. Data Analytics came to mind as the popularity of this position has grown thanks to social media. Here I am doing my research trying to learn more about what this career entails. Years ago I was working for a company as a receptionist and they had me doing demographic research on the local people. I recall it took me months! I was literally even using the yellow pages. I sure wish I knew about Data Analytics then.
Thank you! It was actually not a very novel idea in the data world and there way I coded the viz was probably not the best, but glad you found it nice 😀. Thanks for watching! 🙌
Thank you. I am scared of data analytics as I am a mech guy wanting to transition to tech. this video eased me a little. i will watch all of your videos
This is my first time on this channel and this video was really helpful to me. I've been procrastinating a lot about doing a data analytics project. I just didn't know how will I start/pick a theme/get the data/do everything/then visualise/publish etc etc etc. The process felt overwhelming without having even a brief idea of any of the steps thus I didn't start ever. But now you've given me a broad idea of diverse things! Thanks for this guidance. And you look beautiful!! I wish I found this channel earlier and I hope I find you someday irl too! 🤍
This is such a great, comprehensive video. Many tutorials just talk about what websites to use to host it. I love the project ideas and breakdown of them. Awesome advice 👍
This video is incredibly helpful! I'm new to the industry and this clarified so many things and gave me a distinct direction for my job search. Thank you so much!
You are truly an inspiration, your video contents are super helpful! Your Landscape of despair project opened my eyes, I love art and sketching and didnt know one could you use their artistic talents in data science like this.
I’m so glad to hear, Farhan! 🙌I love art as well, though I do mostly painting instead of sketching. It’s usually a challenge to bridge data science/tech and art, I’ve made a lot of sad attempts to do this. Glad you found it inspiring 😇
I’m really thankful for all the informations in this video! I’m about to get my google data analytics certification and planning to build my portfolio. With these informations and sources it will be much easier to get the data I need and to get inspired by existing projects. Thank you!

Hello Thu, I rarely make comments on RUclips but I am so glad to find your channel. Your content inspired me a lot. I want to learn and know how to utilize them but don't know where to start. Your videos provide a well-structured guideline to start personal data projects and build portfolios. Mostly I paint with oil pastel since the watercolor techniques are a bit hard to manage :). I love Van Gogh and Amsterdam. Hope I can come back to Amsterdam someday :)

Hi, just stumbled across this channel and I'm so impressed! Definitely would be keen to know more about making a personal website for free, the only thing I've seen that looks well done is Squarespace but that isn't very cheap!
Thanks for commenting Alicia! Indeed not all of us want to pay that much for a simple portfolio website. But I feel that there’s a tradeoff between $$ and ease to set up. I’ve played with GatsbyJS to make a preliminary version of my art blog (😅) but it’s a bit more coding towardsdatascience.com/a-z-guide-to-create-and-deploy-a-website-with-gatsbyjs-github-netlify-fd8339650fc7. But of course there are also a lot of static HTML/CSS templates you can use and make it prettier to your taste. I’m looking forward to making a video on this.
How can someone who just started DA and DS get to the same level as you? I couldn't even master matplotlib, let alone learn another library for data viz. 😱 You're practically a unicorn in this field
Hey Sundas, could you please make a video on How to Land into Data Science/ Data Analyst role? also .. could you please cover some tips/advices/strategies on switching companies
