Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!
I feel sad for your faithful truck that you just love and have just had restored with a 'new' engine and new tires, and your beloved tractor that you love so much and that brings you so much joy. I hope you continue to enjoy them as much as you did before the arrival of your new toy!
Theo, your labguuage of love is obviously 'doing' jobs to make Bees life easier.
You're such a lovely partner. Its very evident how much you love her ❤
You should build a Pergola over that Tank for watering the veg, put a simple roof on and a Gutter-Feed like your shower tank .... Proper-Job ;-)
Smart
Brilliant idea
Clever & simple!,,, xx
Why not build one next the vegetables and collect the water there.
If you want to store more water off the roof of the shower room, you can link up 2 IBC’s in parallel before having the overflow going to the garden - keep you going longer when the rain isn’t as frequent
You are so kind to Bea……..I know she will love the thoughtfulness you have done for her……love the beast!
I admire what you have accomplished. It takes commitment , mitigation and a unwavering will.
I’m so glad that you showed us what the garden looks like now. I’m so happy that you’re making Bee’s watering the garden better.
Cool!!!!! What a GREAT addition to your little farm!! You are a good husband, Theo, you are always thinking of what you can do to make Bea’s life easier… both of your lives, really. You have really become a Master Handyman/Jack-of-All-Trades… Bravo!!
Lol Their not married , but who cares xxxx
@@lesleythomson2823 : They might as well be…does common law cohabitation apply?
I would look into getting gutter guards. They are like mesh that snap on over the gutters to keep derby out. There are also guards/filters that go onto the top of those huge water tanks.
Perfect suggestion..
I was thinking the same thing. Lol.
My thought too! Pine needles are acidic, and probably aren’t helpful to the garden plants. We took our massive pine tree out after years of its needles killing our lawn.
That was my thought too. Mesh coverings over our gutters have saved us from hours of problems. Also the pine needles make for great mulch to keep weeds out, not on the planter beds but on the surrounding areas. They are acidic so should be kept off plantings you want to keep alive but works great for discouraging weeds. As always I’m loving your channel, accomplishments, and plans for the future. 🧡🎃🧡
Great suggestion.
Have you thought about a couple of those Shelter Logic type sheds for your vehicles, they would last a good few years until you built something permanent and keep all your vehicles out of the weather. They;d also be quite good for storage of tools and equipment.
I was going to suggest the same thing. I'm ordering one for myself for extra garden storage. My shed was overflowing.
I live in the city but I would love to get one too. They are nice looking & definitely handy to have around for storage.
I’m unfamiliar with Shelter Logic. Is it something ordered on line. My poor cars sit out in the weather too.
I think you have something with vehicles, the Passat, the Duster, the truck, the tractor, the van, the motor bike..... and now a side by side.
Watching you two simply makes the world feel sane and beautiful for about 23 minutes. Like fresh air and ☀️ for my soul 🙏🙏
Cool 4x4, though I'm a little confused by the amount of vehicles you have now. Especially you just fixed the larger pickup truck too. Could see this being more small and nimble but still needing the bigger one too.. Just a bit much? But what do I know 😄
“A bit much” is an objective perspective. Bea and Theo have done SO MUCH with very little up to this point; who’s to blame them for a little functional luxury?
So glad you got a nice side by side.
Happy for you.
What you just said is so true theo ,my husband always wanted to live and retire in Spain 🇪🇸 so we did for 5 years but then he had dementia we came home ,its 10 years since he died so time is so precious so please make the most of yours and Bees life, please take care stay safe.XX
I am glad Bea has family over. I bet you both are enjoying them there. I am glad that you have that little truck to help on the farm.
A little confused about the "side-by-side" given the truck is running again and the tractor is running.
Brilliant side x side. We have the 5 seater version. They are truly so handy around property and great for a family adventure.
Bee is going to love her new tap for sure. My husband built me a 3 stack water barrel system for my orchard and I love the tap on my barrel system. Cuts down the amount of trips back and forth to water 💧 everything 😁 You always do such a good job Theo 🙂 looking forward to seeing your vegetable garden grow and the delicious food you will harvest 😉
I love your new side by side perfect for a small farm and Theo I really like that you are making things easier for Bea at her raised garden I am hoping that you are enjoying living in your place on your absolutely magical property very soon.
think we need to see an off grid garage for all these toys!
Just for you to know, parsnips in portuguese are called "Chirívia" or "Cherovia". It needs cold weather, so it's not very common here, but in Covilhã they make the parsnip Festival 😃
Theo I love how you are always doing things to make Bee and your life so much easier. When all is done it will be amazing and you can sit back (for a little bit) and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
Theo you are such a blessing to Bea, your work ethic is incredible. Love your new 4x4 it’s adorable and will be a great addition and will become a great working addition to the property. 👍💕💕
Theo, you have to be the most hard working and kindest person in this world. God bless you.
Time invested into gardening is time well spent….Take care guys! 🌀❤️🌀
So glad things are moving along, but don't overdue and get sick.
Looks sharp, stylish, and sporty, your side by side, and will be handy on your property and can't wait to see you both finish your home for Christmas. Theo, it's great that you are going to surprise Bee with a new water tap for the garden area, awesome.
Your new vehicle is cute!! Do you have covers for the gutters there? They go on the top of the gutter and have a small mesh opening pattern. It lets the water in but not leaves and pine needles. You’re always such a hard worker, Theo. Take care 👍🏼
Nice new toy. You are so right. Live today because nothing is guaranteed for tomorrow. Enjoy!
Theo, I cant think of any RUclipsr, with a more positive mindset than YOU ❤😊
Everything you and Bee touches, turns to gold.
I keep telling my sons about you two, and the crazy amount of work you're doing to build your beautiful Tiny Home and making all sorts of progres on your land.
Your families must be SO proud 🏆
Thank you for sharing everything, just the way you are!! 🙏
Greetings from Camilla in Denmark ☀️
❤️❤️
Theo has never seen a vehicle, tool, electric device, gadget or thing-a-ma-jig he doesn’t like. It’s so cute, his absolute enthusiasm for each and every tool for this boy. I hope he never runs out of gadgets.
Bee will always know what to buy him for Christmas and bdays
Love the 4x4. You and Bea have worked so hard, it’s nice to see good things coming your way. Much love to you both.
What a great guy, always thinking of his partner...that's priceless!
Get bee a hose with sprayer and a hose rack/honey to set up right next to garden bed or the new spout . Hose a special sprayer are better than heavy pails
This is a great idea😃👍🏼. Also maybe you could find a good stump to put under the water faucet for the times when filling a pail, bucket…etc…this way no one needs to hold while filling…win win😃👍🏼. Great work today Theo and congratulations on your new side by side😃👏🏼👏🏼🎉🎉
I like that has a windshield wiper, side by side, and dumper!
You are so talented Theo. God bless you and Bea❤️💜🙏🏽
You should look into a "first flush" system. You add it to the down spout. It also helps with debris in the tank.
One of the things (there are so many) that I love about you ,Theo, is that you are always thinking of things to make life a bit easier for your lovely Bee. You think ahead and go to great lengths to please her. That is quite a nice quality. Well done, mate!👍❤️🥬🧅🥦
Good job. Glad you are going forward fast!
Theo, you are every womans dream. Lol. Amazing. Bea will be thrilled. 😊
Theo, you are a task-master and absolute beast getting projects done.
Really loving the new Kioti side-by-side. I want one!
Get ‘er done!
Congratulations on the side by side! So happy for you 😊 Your barn is coming along and you both are so inspiring! God Bless Y'all 💖
Would a small hose added to the new spout will relieve even having to use tge water can, more efficient. You have great ideas for your water storage.
Bee! Thinking of you, and can't wait to see more your garden... I love a garden and over the last six years have been building mine up. So it is so fun to see you building yours. I also wanted to say, have had my own issues with my mental health and I am cheering you on. I think you seem like a lovely warm person ❤️💐and wish you the best. I think you and Theo have such fun plans, and can't wait to see what you do with the inside of your home. It is going to be sooo gorgeous (going by the other decorating projects)!
Theo, you are such a handy man 👍😊 getting things in order for your lives on your property. You have accomplished so many tasks and continue to surprise us with more every week. Grand job Theo 👍😊 you are getting sooo close to the finish line as far as moving in goes.👍👍😊 so close and so excited for you both to be moving into your gorgeous barn-home.🤣🤣👍⚘😻 Im
There seems a few patches of green. It's all looking so well. Just extremely happy for you two.
Love the groovy tunes Theo! Went so well with the ‘dune buggy’ tour. Have fun for sure but be safe. Lovely for Bea with family visiting
Theo, you are a LEGEND! Your problem solving skills and love for sweet Bee are amazing! 😻
Theo, what about the DIYer's third hand? Zip ties would hold the pipe and faucet until you get the brackets. !
Zip ties are a great idea for a temporary fix….. in fact some might say even a permanent fix 👍🏼
Snap! I thought that too. But it all depends if you have long enough zip ties.
Christmas came early for Theo, a real nice side by side.
KUDOS FOR ALL THE HARD WORK!!
I love the way you intersperse the shots of beauty between the other stuff. The spider web, growing things, the chickens, the cats, a close up of the newly pointed stones!! Hooray for Theogh's new toy and Bee's lovely plants.
Congrats on then side by side . It's perfect for your farm and looks like you got a good one. We farm and got one last year. It never shuts off. Safes so many steps and the box is a work horse.
You and Bea are so sweet with each other. So great you take the time to really listen and then surprise Bea with a less stress surprise. Your both so blessed. Really admire your work ethic and care you take. Have been watching for several years and you have done amazing at making your dreams reality. Bless you both.
Wow how lovely surprise for Bee, I mean the garden water tap. You did mention how hard it was for filling the water can just by one hand. I started thinking may you have some logs around to make like a table for a tap or maybe it should been lover so you can use two can for watering. Watering with one on the meanwhile the other is filling. Just an idea. What an gorgeous job you are doing over there, both of you. Really enjoyable to watch and I really love the video quality and beautiful soft colors.
Yes, put a flat rock under it to hold the watering can. It is also easier to lift if higher. Great job, I love the side by side! From western Massachusetts, USA. :-)
Theo, what about attaching window screen atop your drain pipe? It would allow water in, but keep the pine needles from clogging and keep other large debris out of the pipe. Just a suggestion.
Might want to put a nylon stocking on the end of your down spout pipe in the tank to catch debris and mosquitos from getting into the tank. Might also want to put a one way valve on the exit pipe to keep little crawlies out. Great Job.
Lol you talk about your vehicle the way I talk about my camera gear!! Very happy for you two!
Good morning Theo and Bee. Hopefully you are having a great weekend. Greetings from Jamaica 🇯🇲🇯🇲
Bee is such a lucky women. You just happened to “pick up” on her needs about that water location. You’re a very attentive husband & I’m sure that Bee us very appreciative of your efforts to please her. You two are doing a GREAT job…. So keep up the good work & you’ll be in your home soon enough. You both will be singing “Merry Christmas to you” in front of your Christmas tree before you know it!
Have you guys heard of a Berkey Water system? I'm in FL and love mine since it does not require electricity and with double charcoal filters and a chlorine filter option too it's an amazing option for clean water!
Great job on the water for Bee she will save her back. Your side by side is awesome I've never seen one😲 We do need to live for today and enjoy!
over 100mm of rain!!!!!!!! hope you got your jobs done in time. Great work and interesting videos . thank you!!!
Your new vehicle will be a great help I'm sure. Good job fitting the guttering to collect rainwater and for Bea to fill up her watering can. Two more jibs ticked off. Have a good week xx
Maybe its just me but I would have thought the Nissan truck was just fine for work around the farm.
It is and still has its place, The 4x4 is way nicer to drive, more fuel efficient can tow and tip, can go places the truck can’t and I can have fun exploring the local trails.
So you won't be in this Christmas, I know you're disappointed. Perhaps it's nature's way of saying. You guys need to take some time out otherwise you will burn out. Imagine this time next year you will be decorating you're beautiful tiny home. I am addicted to your project. I love the energy that you both create. Have a well-earned rest over the next few days. Wishing you both a very blessed, peaceful and happy Christmas.
One of my favourite channels on RUclips love this channel take care and stay safe Love from England
Local deal picked up Multi a few years ago. I stopped in when I saw them on the lot. What a nice machine. Seem to be really well built. Hope it serves you well.
This video seems a bit of while Bee is away Theo will play lol imagine the fun you will have when the snow is on the ground !! All it needs now is a winch and led fog lights and a light bar on the top!!
Can understand your enthusiasm to get jobs done,Theo, but don’t forget to take time to smell the roses! (Or lemons,or whatever )
Just a thought-put a hook at the tap to hold the watering can, so she doesn’t have to hold it. Is the tap very far from her plants? Can you attach a hose to the tap so she can water constantly? You are doing fine work. I can’t wait to see how much water comes from your outhouse roof.
But why don’t you just hook a hose to the new spout?
@@Roams2NFro water pressure is the problem. He tried the automatic spot watering system in the last video. Not enough pressure to put water through to every plant. I am dealing with the same problem. The hose also looses pressure and it takes forever to water the plants
@@CLFL14256 Awe, ok. Yeah , then a hose would be defeating the purpose. Thanks for explaining.
Great jobs as ever and so lovely to see all the plants and animals living their best life. Chickarooos are so so lovely Willow is looking especially gorgeous knock on wood.
Really expected the Benny Hill music to start wit the side by side drive round ...! Looks wonderfully fun and practical
You are the sweetest man!!!! You are always thinking of her, lucky lady!!!! Loved the music in this video.
Admiring the Kioti!
Wondering if you will be constructing some type of roofed structure to store & protect all your investment in equipment from rain & sun?
Listen, Bree you are incredibly beautiful both outside and in. I hope we'll see you and your garden more, I love watching it.
Love your new toy! You and Bea will get a lot of use of your new 4x4! Yes, the water spout by the garden is going to play an essential part for daily garden chores! What a beautiful day to visit your beautiful property. See you soon Bea & Theo! 🤍🤍🤍
Theo, how very thoughtful to make it easier for Bee to water the new garden!
Bee and Theo, you do you. You're two beautiful people.
Theo, you handled those 6 months with grace and strength. Glad to hear you're both moving forward. 💘 Love the Kioto. 👍😎🌲🇨🇦⚘
Excellent music, b roll & superb cinematography great work xx
It’s time to build a garage or something with a roof for all the vehicles
Theo, you sure do work hard!
Bee was also busy trying to sell her family on your lifestyle.
I hope that worked out and that they could see how all of your work has built so much beauty.
I'm so happy about your new 4x4 and all of the jobs it will help with and the adventures it'll take you on!
Have fun and stay safe!
Great job Thro , Bra is going to be so happy.
New subscriber !!
Found you through a old post from Eamon & Bec.
How gave I lived life without y’all.
Love From The North North Georgia Mountains 🏔 🇺🇸
In the rainwater collection system, I advise you to place a filter separating leaves, in the roof outlet pipe. in order to avoid dirt on the bottom of the tank. Good videos!
Great little vehicle and I'm sure your be having lots of fun in it. I do have a suggestion why not use guttering net & a down pipe protector. You wont have to worry about leaves etc blocking your guttering so much 😁. What a lovely surprise for Bea hope she loved it. Take care and stay safe 🤗
I installed mesh covers on my gutters a few months back. Life is too short to waste it on a ladder every weekend.
You should look into getting a shelter logic. Use it for your vehicles and workshop. Protect your investment from the weather
Hi theo and bee missing bee with her smile and LAUGHING and being her old self nice little buggy nice work and good video theo
I love your B-roll! (a word I didn't know before youtube)
I love what you guys do for each other
Well done again, Theo - you’re such a hard working and lovely chap...respect and love 😁
On your new vehicle. Does it have rain covers for the sides and back?
That utv is awesome that will give the truck a break👌
Have you considered fitting a mesh netting over that open IBC? Just to keep the debris to a minimum. Might be a good idea those leaves will fill it up quickly.
Great Job Theo. Can’t wait to see the wall in the Barn completed. 😁😁😁😁😁❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Y'all gotta name your new ride! The "side by side" just doesn't cut it. ;D
A man and his vehicle, can't contain his excitement. Four vehicles and a tractor, you're going to need a garage. I get more excited about my plants than my truck
Looks like it’s time for a garage !
Another workhorse to help you all get the jobs done that will move you closer to moving into the barn🙌 The new tap is great👏👏 Stay safe, be well and see ya next time👋👋👋👋
