If you beat the campaign, you unlock the police car as a vehicle you may start with in Free Ride mode. Alternatively, you can find some unmanned police cars on the sides of roads (they will not show up on the radar like regular ones). These can be obtained like any other car, but your felony meter will instantly be maximized.

They could have improved draw distance given more time to develop a better LOD system - just like in the Spyro games which have incredible draw distances. But considering what they did achieve with Driver 2, it is nothing short of _astonishing_ taking into account the very severe limitations of PS1 hardware...

No game will ever be as Driver 2 was for 1990 generation this game surpassed everything, and GTA's are just rip off from Driver game and also from World's Scariest Police Chases another huge classic but not that known from PS1..

ahh, The fantastic Buick GSX-ish car. They never did accurate models. But the paint and decals are a good representation. This and the Mustang were my favorites.

+Patrick Sina YNWA that was actually easy compared to the mission after that where you had to stop the shooter from getting away. That was just infuriating because the killers car was rock solid and his driving was precise as FUCK, also the route he took to get away was full of traffic and you didn't have much time to react.

Back in the day before i had dial up Internet I use to go into a zellers or walmart an find the strategy guide to what ever game i was playin at the time, being a little kid all i ever had was a dollar or 2, so since i never had money to buy the guides id look through them an find the couple pages i needed and id go use the public photo copy machine in the store an copy the pages out of the strategy guides for 25 cents a page...I did that with driver 2, i photo copied the 2 pages that showed you were the secret cars are hidden in the game, i found the hidden cars that way ...That was about 20 years ago...
Is there a way to raise the draw distance, or is it fixed (on PC not PlayStation ) ?! With the resolution and draw distance raised, it becomes playable... in my opinion. Where is the IOS and Android ports of Driver 1,2,3 and Parallel Lines?

Man it has been a long time since i played this game but I still remember the way through to secret car .

Lol I remember first finding this car with help from the Driver guide magazine. Awesome to think I use to think these graphics were amazing.
This car is a bit faster than another cars in this city. That remember a mission from Driver "Go Super Ride", when you must drive with a fast car.
If you notice. It is the same car from Driver 1.
The secret car looks like the one from driver 1 (you can see it in one of the screenshots on the back of the cover).
