Great video ... great content .. .parents if you are looking for a good bat. Just about any composite bat will do 200-400$. You don't need to drop $500 bucks on a specific brand. A major difference between composite bats is the amount of composite material used. The composite material provides a trampoline effect... the less material requires less break in time to get the bat hot, but this also translates to reduced durability. More material requires more break in time, but also provides more durability. Those easton ghosts are what we consider "hot out of the wrapper" they have thinner walls (less composite) so they have a tendency to break faster. But bats like CRBN / Demarini's are manufactured with more composite... So take a look at your player, if they are someone who takes BP every day, hits about 500 balls a week; the Ghost might not be the bat for you.
Love how informative your videos are. Question, any Louisville bat reviews? We got my 15 yr old the 2024 LXT and it’s been great. But now wondering what to get our 12U player who’s a power hitter. Ghost or Louisville?
We do not sell Louisville so nothing to review, but for a true power hitter the Ghost Unlimited is going to be the best bat to take advantage of her abilities.
@@SmashItSportsSIS Oh... so the title should really be "Unveiling the Best: Top Fastpitch Softball Bats of 2023 and Beyond! (That we sell)". At least you clarified that in the comments.
If I sold watches and 2 or 3 of the most expensive ones were practically guaranteed to break within a year....I could not say they're the best or the top watches on the market. To not include ANY of the 3 main DeMarini bats on this list crazy to me. Same goes for the LXT. Maybe you left the LXT & Prism off because they're the most balanced bats on the market. I don't know. Maybe the CF was omitted because their '23 version had durability issues, with many breaking at he connection. But that "durability issue" is nothing compared to any of those Ghost bats. The only Ghost bat that ranks high is the new '24 Advanced, which has only been out 2 months now (right after this video was made). Time will tell if it's durable or not. That said....the best bat is the bat they step into the box having the most confidence with.
Watches sit on your wrist. Bats hit balls. Watches tell you the time. Bats help you perform at a higher level on the field. Not even remotely close to the same comparison, but thanks for your input.
@@SmashItSportsSIS If Wilson A2000 SuperSkin gloves ripped, lost their shape, or became floppy within a year...I couldn't say the A2000s are better than a HOH or other gloves on the market. The watches were an analogy. Just like my current glove ANALOGY. Sorry for not using one to your liking earlier. But thanks for the input (while ignoring or side stepping Ghosts durability issues).
This is a misleading title to your video. I was anticipating a review that shows all bat manufacturers like Worth, Louisville, DeMarini, Mizuno, Easton and so on. You have a bias review of bats since you aren't an authorized dealer other than what you sell. This is a review on not all bats just want you have. Thank you for taking the time and effort that went in to the video. Off to the next review!
I like how you featured only CHINESE made bats but didn’t include any bats made in 🇺🇸 (maybe the Mantra) Where’s the the Demarini Prizm which is rated #1 and made in Oregon! LS LXT which also isn’t included here but Chinese made and still the Prizm and LXT are both rated better than any of these.
😂😂 if it’s not broke don’t fix it 🤔 wonder why Easton hasn’t changed the ghost because they all crack and break. A lot of money that you will have to send back when it cracks. Never had that issue with any DeMarini my daughter has had
I saw a video a couple months ago where a guy was bashing DeMarini because a CF7 had cracked. That bat was released in 2014! 10 years ago. But the guy was pumping his daughters Ghost and saying all bats break. These Ghost fan boys/dads are ridiculous. The most balanced bats out are the LXT & Prism. The most durable bats on the market come from DeMarini & LS. With the standards and regulations...all these manufacturers are right on the line/edge of being legal or illegal. So why not buy a bat that will last 2, 3, 4, or 9 years? Why spend more (or the same) on a bat that lasts 2, 3, 4, or 9 MONTHS? The Ghost is not hotter or more balanced than an LXT, CF, Whisper, or Prism. And anyone saying otherwise is just trying to sell them or biased.
@@SmashItSportsSIS so my stepdad sent me on a mission to get him bats for his niece she gave him 33inch 20 something Oz & in spanish told him composito after reading your comment I think thats composite but you said thats for youth but shes 20 something I guess shes small.. also around how much do they go for?
In the last year I've seen at least a dozen Ghosts break. One girl broke 3 actually. She's currently 5'-3" & 105 lbs. Just turned 15 and can maybe hit the ball 180 in the air. Maybe! But her parents keep exchanging and buying them like they're as hot as this guy says. You know...I've never seen an LXT, CF, Prism, or Whisper break. Not one.
Uhhhhh... I know you're trying to get your viewership up but not cool I can read the description on the website just like you did just now,... this is not a review... Far from it...

As of 4/8, top 5 Home Run hitters in NCAA D1 swing Mizuno CRBN bats. Ghost is tied for 5th. Even 6th place is a Mizuno.
Oklahoma leads the country in wins and they all use Rawlings. Stats can be deceiving.

Mantra is made in China. No bat is better than the Ghost line. Not even close honestly.
Most new bats are just repaints of the previous year. My daughter averages 2 seasons per bat before we replace it.
A lot of manufacturers have started to carry bats over several model years. Some get slight modifications such as grip, weighted, etc.

What’s your opinion on best youth fast pitch bats?
All of the bats on this list would be great for youth through college. For younger players you will want composite, and balanced swing weight.

The ghost is the hottest bat on the market. They don't usually last beyond a year. But thats the trade-off for the level of performance it offers.
