Discovered you and congratulations on your channel’s viral success! ❤ I’m 38 and I resonate with what you shared about starting over after your corporate career. My story was a little different but the emotional feelings were the same. Don’t lose heart and faith (or overthink), believe in the skills you possess and you’ll shine with your personality ✨🌈🙌🏻❤
Thank you for the lovely comments and support! Leaving corporate has been such a shift - so it's encouraging to connect to others who have gone through the same experiences. Navigating mid-career is challenging - but I'm remaining positive and working hard to get results! Loving your channel btw - it's great to get so much insight! Take care, Fran 💖💖💖
I found you through your decluttering video & stayed for the filmmaking, the vibes and your authentic presence. Don’t stress too much and keep doing what you’re doing! You’ll find your audience!
Wow, thank you so much for this! I’m honestly so touched-Thanks for being part of this journey-it’s all still a bit new, so I’m incredibly grateful for the support and community here. Sending all the gratitude and good vibes your way! 😊✨
Hi Fran, my gosh I love your content. I don't think I've ever commented that much 😂 anyawys, this video really resonated. Found myself in a similar spot during the pandemic and started my freelance career from there. The beginning was hard 😂 but can I just say, dont worry too much about your website being perfect-perfect. It will change again soon enough as you work with people and narrow down your target audience. Ive found my first few clients through facebook groups and telling everyone! I met, what I do 😅 not hugely paid but after that the reviews and recommendations kept pouring in. So i think the hardest part is getting your foot in the door... I wish you all the best!!! A freelance career is very anxiety inducing but also so so rewarding to be your own boss and chosing how and with who you wanna work.
Thanks so much for the kind words! 😊 I’m glad you’re enjoying the content-I’m still learning as I go! Starting freelance is definitely a new experience, and I appreciate the insights. Finding the right audience is so key-kind of like my RUclips journey! Wishing you all the best in your freelance journey too! Here’s to rewarding projects and working with people we genuinely want to connect with. 🙌 Fran
Dude I feel the same way especially with my Channel I’ve been struggling financially and it’s good to know other smaller creators have the same problem! I love this video, and am going to keep watching!
Great to meet a fellow creator-I totally get it! It’s tough out here! But it’s also such a great place to connect with others. Here’s to pushing forward and supporting each other! 🙌✨ All the best! Fran
What a beautiful story, thank you for sharing. The Japanese are very warm and kind people. ❤p.s. I’m obsessed with your channel, you are very creative and your style is so calming.p.p.s. My fave Onigiri are the tuna mayonnaise ones 😋
Thank you so much for your lovely words! I'm so happy you're loving the channel! I’m trialling out different styles and just having a bit of fun, tbh! 😊 ❤️ Tuna mayo is definitely the hidden gem of onigiri-so good! 😋 Take care, Fran
Once more a wonderful insight - more into you than in japanese culture - still really enjoyable. The warmth of a family - doesn't matter if related by blood or by soul - is something to treasure and although both of you may feel a bit uncomfortable living together this cramped right now, you too will create nice memories. I added the original-taste-chicken from the family mart to my food-to-have-list for my stay. Thanks for one more delicious recommendation so far. Please don't get stressed by trying to make things perfect. I hope you will become satisfied with your work step bye step. 頑張ってください Francis さん and ありがとうございました for sharing your content in such a pure, natural and calming way. 🍀🍀🍀already addicted to your stuff
Thanks so much for your lovely words! 😊 Haha, my bro and I are cool; we just know how to push each other’s buttons too well! making memories is what it’s all about, no matter the situation. The Famichiki is a must-try; I hope you love it! I really appreciate the support; Take good care of yourself, and enjoy planning your trip out here! Fran
I kept on missing the end so I kept on rewinding only to realise on the 4th or 5th time that you were front row at the Wendy Show lol hahaha 🤣 😂🤣 That is absolutely hilarious. I Love it 🥰 ❤🫶
I was going to ask you who you are targeting, but of course you worked it out for yourself, clever man. Also what is it that you want to do? Do you want to concentrate on being a creative, or do you want to do the business and management side of it? You can tweak your portfolio to push one thing or another. Good luck. I know you need to earn, and work on your portfolio, don’t forget to have fun. Don’t worry about annoying your brother, that’s what siblings are for, at least that’s what I tell myself when I annoy mine 😂
Thanks for the encouragement! 😊 It’s a good question-I'm still figuring it out! I enjoy both the creative and business sides, I guess I need to find clients and people I genuinely want to work with. That’s when I really feel in my element. Siblings are definitely there to annoy-it's part of the fun! Haha! 😂 Wishing you all the best, and take care! ✨
Humbly - please forgive the presumption, but I'm wondering if your website should highlight what you eloquently highlighted yourself: Francis Lee's skills in building trust and solving problems. In your opening website blurb, your strength is buried beyond the usual 6-sec scan zone. Pitch to a prospective employer right up top: You don't have to be alone as you look for solutions that resonate with your target audience and are sustainable for your business. I have the proven skills in talent management and budget to drive the significant impact you are looking for in a top global market.
I love this! 😄 It’s such a great point that was staring me in the face. I'm grateful for the feedback-so thank you very much! I often forget how beneficial it is to bounce ideas around; otherwise, I can get lost in the details and overthink things. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts-it’s super helpful and has definitely changed my thinking! 🌟 All the best, Fran

The Kindness of Strangers...enriches the receiver and the giver; win win - why would one NOT choose kindness?!
It’s always wonderful to see how people can uplift each other! ❤️✨ I choose kindness all the time! Take care, Fran
