As a long time explosive trap enjoyer, I have to say there is no chance this will be 5D on league start. Just the amulet by itself was 3-5D the entire first week. You can definitely build a huge dps Chaos explosive trap monster for cheap though with Consuming Darks, either by scaling poison or scaling the Chaos hit itself. You can get more damage by pushing the Chaos hit instead of poison if you go crit at around this same budget for this time in league. If you are looking for a cheap upgrade to this setup, annoint Saboteur instead of High Voltage (I don't follow why that's annointed since this is a DoT build). It grants two additional traps for about 15% more damage. Max traps don't show up in PoB but are a substantial power increase when you are preloading traps on a boss. Nice build idea, keep the content coming.

That was a super budget version -- you could scale the Chaos hit into the 100s of millions with a bit better investment. If you had more currency I'd also spend some effort shoring up defenses as I was leaning heavily on Kintsugi / Ghost Dance for sustain which works fine if you are ok with dying from time to time or have a lot of experience doing Uber bosses@@burntnumb8691

@albertgiovanno1359 that's why you get a 6socket corrupted one and buy tainted fusing they are like 55c ea on league start... I used dendrobate this league and your right the 6link is 7 div about... I got one for 30c 6 socket corrupt and got lucky with 2 tainted fuses but even if unlucky you can say you use 6... that's less than 2 div for the chest and the tainted fusings.... if you know you know.

Honestly, i feel like if you rework this build a fair bit it could be a relatively SSFHC viable boss killer, being that the daggers and body are insanely easy to get and the rings arent THAT necessary with proper defenses.
Yeah using late league prices to compare as a Leaguestarter is dumb and speaks volumes how clueless people are. Rare uniques are way pricier at leaguestart. Literal garbage 2c uniques can cost several divines first days of league if its a builddefining unique. It's the same with these divine per hours showcase farm videos, they spend all day preparing buying sextants, scarabs and 8modding maps but doesn't ad that at all to the divine per hour results. Poe videos like this build and such divine/hr showcases are just click baits.

Problem is that these prices are not very accurate when you compare them to actual league start scenario, that chest(6-linked) alone was worth about 3-5divines, same goes for the amulet, eldritch currency is also fairly expensive on leaguestart, level 3 enlighten(corrupted) alone was around 300 chaos on leaguestart and the list goes on. + you are using current divine prices and rares that would be more expensive on leaguestart but are dirt cheap at this time of the league. This build does seem relatively cheap compared to other builds but it ain't as cheap as you claim it to be.
seems reasonable to transition into this day2 or so after running your maps with a lightning arrow deadeye and just respec after you got your uniques. you'd make alot of currency doing boss carrys early on.
