The Roland TD-15KV features Roland's superNATURAL sound behaviour modelling, resulting in superior sound quality and a truly natural response to drumming techniques and dynamics. Roland's SuperNATURAL sound modelling was first introduced in the flagship TD-30 V-drums kit, now it's more affordable than ever in the compact Td-15 range. The all new TD-15 Module is bursting with features, 100 onboard kits made of 50 presets and 50 user kits, expressive and dynamic sound library spanning a wide variety of styles and genres, professionally recorded backing tracks, phrases and loops, Quick Edit functionality giving supreme control over tuning muffling and strainer. Also featured, an extended coach and quick record function for building and developing skills and USB connectivity for computer and back-up.
The TD-15 is also compatible with the Air Recorder and V-Drums Friend Jam for iPhone. These are new iOS Apps for Roland Wireless Connect, an innovative system that allows Roland electronic musical instruments to communicate with the iPhone. The TD-15KV features the all new PDX-100 V-pad for snare and floor tom, a lightweight 10" mesh-head pad with an advanced dual-trigger sensor, metal rim hoop, tensionable head, dual mounting and a compact casing. The chrome-look PD-85BK 8" dual zone V-pad for toms also feature Roland's acclaimed dual-triggering technology. Cymbals included are the CY-12C Crash offering natural swinging motion and choke control and the CY-13R Ride, featuring an enlarged bow area and three way triggering (bow, edge and bell). Roland's V-Hi-Hat VH-11 offers superb control and expression with an incredibly realistic feel and motion mounted on a conventional hi-hat stand. (not included). What kit is used at 18:19? I have a TD-15K, and have done some tweaking, but that kit sounds killer! I have messed around with some custom settings, but there were a few things shown in this video, I hadn't done yet, thank you!
