In Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦 I called the dealer I bough my C8 as long as I buy from them and is GM approved I won’t lose warranty so only option is Borla exhaust which I know they are really good ..

Installed that air filter last week took maybe 30 minutes max. Ordered my AWE touring exhaust and will be installing that as soon as it comes in.
Great sound and exhaust looks awesome polished. Oh and those brushed wheels look awesome too.

I like the brushed aluminum wheels better. Never was a fan of black wheels. When the black wheel thing started, the kids would just spray their wheels black. That's what they look like to me. Sorry, just my opinion.

I’m like the tips it’s a 90% black mixed keys 10% silver, it looks really good in person. The AWE Touring system is definitely the way to go, super happy gives you mild to wild exhaust notes.

I love there sound, actually inquired about a C5 exhaust, but a couple years ago they didn't make. My question is why is it not stainless? Or is that an option?
Thanks guys for the info on Darrin’s new exhaust from AWE. I have been awaiting my C8 build for the last 10 months and the exhaust will surely be my first upgrade/mod. Just curious now installed if he’s thrown any check engine lights? I have heard AWE is one of the few systems that won’t throw a fact code so I was hoping for your feedback and advise…. No check engine lights, sounds great gives you the mild to wild exhaust notes. High recommend the Touring version that comes with the 180 muffler technology.

The black tips would look much nicer , his simply doing that because AWE doesn’t have to he black tips now .
I actually wanted to do something different to make them stand out more.
Suggest throwing Paragon diffuser fins on the the back... love seeing the polished pipes, but it looks like the mesh fell out, fins might tie it all together!? My wife asked if he was a Jamaican professor???? I said what? NERD E MON🏝😆

Just exhaust, I’ll smash those funds for a z06, very happy with the sound and I’ve now got about 250 miles since installed and no engine lights.
AWE exhausts are extremely expensive so it disappointing they don’t polish their exhausts!

Mike had one on a previous car, I’ve had one on my Diesel Truck, honestly I don’t think it’s need on a c8, I probably would not spend the money.
He should have gone with the AWE Track.
I prefer to not have interior drone sound that track exhaust gives you. Super happy with this touring model, gives you mild to wild exhaust notes.

On remote start, the car was not able to start the engine. I check the code came out p018b confirm
So , what is all about? I was racing a tesla with the check engine on.

That looks Great! Especially for the minimal effort. But how will the Under Dog product hold up under heat? Raw cold steel is one thing, but 1,200 degree exhaust may have a different effect?
It’s the Touring, we have been told by owner of Undrdog that you an use on bbq’s, we will find out, I also coated the exhaust tips.

@@djohnston1982 I also did a two step paint correction and coated which brings out the brilliance of the OEM paint. That alone can really change how your paints shows.

Why would you spend all of that time polishing the rest of the exhaust only to black out your exhaust tips?! Oh great, now you never have to clean and polish your exhaust tips - after you just went over and above polishing the rest of the exhaust?! Especially with the great looking brushed aluminum wheels!
I like the AWE exhaust although it's a little louder on my ZR2 Silverado than I was expecting. I'd love to get the AWE exhaust with the chrome tips on my C8 Z51 but I'm a little skeptical of how loud it may be. The fast idle on the cold starts on my ZR2 definitely alerts the neighbors for a good 45 seconds. It does otherwise sounds awesome, though. I'm speculating that the AWE touring exhaust would be alright in the C8, especially given the motor and exhaust is all in the back.
Of course, now if I do add the AWE exhaust on my C8, I'll have to hand polish the rest of the exhaust like Darren did because that does look awesome - my wife will love that, thanks! Haha. Also, I think that AWE logo in the back is awful. If I do install the AWE exhaust on my C8 I'd snip out that awful AWE logo in the back heat panel. My Vette is my Vette, it's not NASCAR advertising for other companies. Haha.
Darren has the best looking C8 on RUclips. It’s sleek, mean, exotic, and clean.
