Thank you for this information, Andrew and Babcox crew. As someone who enjoys the feeling of driving a vehicle where all maintenance is done by themselves, this information has confirmed and clarified my assumption. The first time I came across the C1130, I was in a panic, then saw the P0340 code (Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction) and went and bought the OEM part to replace it, cleared the P-code, and voila, the car worked as expected. Recently it threw a C1130 and a P0335; I thought for a moment that it might mean I would need a new ABS module overall. I currently have the Sensor on order and shipping to my house. I am pretty sure it will resolve the issue, and with this short video, I am entirely confident I didn't waste my money. Thank you a ton for this info!
Excellent Job. My engine check light was on and I had a traction control light on on the dash also. The engine DTC code was P0340, camshaft angle sensor, and when I did an all up system check the C1130 code came up just like Andrew described.
Thank you so much for posting this!! I got mine checked and have 3 codes- but after watching this, I feel certain that it's all tied back to a faulty Mass Air Flow Sensor. I'm replacing that, and hopefully it will correct the other 2 codes as well.
There is a way to reset the check engine light on a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder and it is sooo easy and it works! Press your ignition button twice to put it into the run position, Lift the hood and remove the negative battery cable. Then take the connector and touch the negative battery post three times about a second apart. Then just place the clamp back onto the battery, tighten, and start the vehicle. The light should go away if the problem has been solved. Trust me, it is that easy! Try it, you’ll be glad you did.
What if there is no comm with either ECM or TCM? I did an all systems scan and got engine signal 1 code in abs and no comm with said modules. I suspect Possibly a canbus termination resistor is broken or there is a cam/ crank correlation error a sensor is broken or canbus is short to ground or open. I also suspected it might be a bad accelerator pedal potentiometer since the are doesnt rev. But sinnce the ecm isnt communication with the cluster properly I don't know wether there is a check engine light or a limp home mode. Its a Quasquai 2015 petrol.
Hi. I have c1130 and can't seem to find the problem. I have a 2015 x trail. I also have airflow sensor code showing too. On my dash the forward emergency braking light and esp light is on as well saying the auto stop start isn't working. Any suggestions
Hello, I have a problem with my Xtrial 2008 t31. The car is running out of power and the engine witnesses turned on, that off and skidding. The car does not respond well and that happens when the last two warning lights that I tell you come on. When these two warning lights are on, the gearbox does not work well and it has gear changes failure and the power is very bad and it is spending a lot of gasoline. Could you help me?. This is my problem: ruclips.net/video/89CQRTKunkc/видео.html
well it tells you that the fault code indicates a fault in the engine it could be any and you have to fix it and clear DTCs to be able to clear that code
its a generic canbus code saying that one of the modules is putting out weird cross talk. You need to find other P codes that coincide with this that will lead you to the right path. If you have nothing else but the C code it might of been a transient hiccup ( too much water, bad voltage whatever) clear it and see if it pops up again

Hey mate did the sensor fix it?

Exactly the problem on mine too
@@jimmytran5971 The camshaft angle sensor was replaced yesterday. That fixed both DTC codes P0340 and the C1130. My truck is back to normal.
@@klrmoto I had the ABS sensor replaced and this code is now on! Could it be cause it wasn’t cleared by a computer?
@@janiegarcia945 That is beyond my experience.

what code did you get
did swapping ur maf sensors help?
I didn’t understand a thing
Very cool info. Found a wire chewed through on the runner control. Causing it to be stuck open. Problem solved 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Very professional and helpful
Any advice for a c1125 on a 350z 2008 Enthusiast. Already replaced the dual speed sensor in the rear.
Yep this code came up with my camshaft sensors going out

Awesome breakdown and explanation !!! ....thanks
I like your analysis 👍

У меня Xtrail 2007 2,5 бензин. Просто перестал заводиться и показывало данную ошибку - оказалось умер бензонасос.

Got an idea but not a 100% clear
Doesn't tell you how to fix the fault just explains the fault
well it tells you that the fault code indicates a fault in the engine it could be any and you have to fix it and clear DTCs to be able to clear that code
thats the thing....mechanics
there could be thousand things that would cause c1130, watch the video before commentating

So now I know less than before !!!
In other words it can be anything and this code doesnt tell you exactly what it is 🥴
C1711.....infiniti
When are you Americans going to learn to pronounce Nissan? It’s not Neeson.
It's pronounced that way in their official advertisements here in the United States.
@@emmcee7333 doesn’t change the fact it’s wrong.
@@Ayrshore It's the same with most brands. Each country has it's own official pronunciation. Volkswagen, Adidas and IKEA to name three.
lmao!!!!!!
