So, here’s some cool backstory for Enmu, lower 1, the dream demon. The manga and anime never show it, so it was left in a data book: When he was a human child he ,on occasion, was not be able to distinguish the difference between dreams and reality. This caused many problems for the people around him. This stopped happening as an adult, and he eventually got an occupation based on this where he pretended to be a doctor. Under the guise of treatments, he misused procedures such as hypno therapy, as well as convincing patients who did not have long to live that they had recovered their health completely, as if they were living a happy dream. Even when other people had realised, after some time, that all he was doing was disingenuous, he continued doing his “treatment” on patients. After all, they were happily living their lives despite their illnesses weren’t they? One night, Muzan came by and was in a VERY hungry mood and wanted to devour Enmu. As he was eating his intestines he realised that Enmu wasn’t screaming, or even in pain. All he seemed to be doing, was envy Muzans form and even praised him as he was slowly dying. His heart and brain stopped working right then and there, and Muzan decided to turn him into a demon before he truly died completely. When Enmu came back awake, he was a demon. Enmu knew that he had been transformed by Muzan, However he also knew that it was most likely on a whim and that Muzan would only remember him in passing, if not at all, so Enmu did his very best to ascend to the rank of Lower Rank One. And that’s how he got to where he is. Any, Akaza, as just said, is upper 3, which means he’s the 3rd from the very top. How lucky for Rengoku.
