Why is your reaction to every fusion with Steven being "That's weird/Horrific"? This is the most negative reactions I'd seen ngl. I've noticed that you're first kneejerk reactions are always negative, and then you find the positives later, but then stay skeptical. You get stuck on that initial stage and take a _long_ time to ask yourself "Why is that?" in a positive light. You don't go into it with optimism, always a pessimist. Never looking outside of yourself, what you know, and like. You also never just take the comedy at face value. Peridot being comedic? You start going "ackshually" by pointing out the obvious instead of accepting that that's the joke. Smokey trying something? Immediate skepticsm and mockery, your face says "because that _obviously_ isn't gonna work, are you stupid? You never want a character to just, _make mistakes._ You feel ashamed and frustration from the present action, instead of thinking of the good outcome one could get from said action. Impatience. 9:33 No? They don't join _because_ they have nothing else, they joined bc they never felt belonged in the first place, and the rebellion was accepting and ready to fight for your difference. Have you never been in a minority?? Jasper _is_ wrong. You know why? Because she's fucking projecting. She thinks that's what's Rose did because that's what she herself would do and _does_ with the corrupted gems. She can't fanthom any other _compassionate_ reasons, because she lacks that.

Also, the name "Luz" means "Light" which is very symbolic to her character as that is the first spell she learns, and the spell Philip never discovered. It's her good and kind nature that saved everyone and it was also what she thought was her weakness, being too kind to Philip. Hits harder when she turns into literal light. In the end, Papa Titan reminds her that she is a Good witch and that's what made her great.

God I love this show so much. Via these reactions this was my first time rewatching the final 3 episodes since they came out and I appreciate them a lot more now. At the time it was hard to ignore the crew having to rush, and the overwhelming feeling of the show actually ending, but now with all that in the past I really really enjoy Season 3 and especially this final episode. For sure one of the best western cartoons in a while.

The return of Arin Hanson, as King’s father! A really cool role for him, as the Titan is such a fun character. A shame we only saw him for this short time, but in a way, he’s been here since the first episode :)

You saw what happened to her arm in the final episode of season 2. Rain ripped it off because it was the source of her being destroyed from belos' day of unity spell. Is disintegrated after he took it off

Dana Terrace The creator of The Owl House is working for Glitch Production an indie animation studio and just released the teaser for her new show called “ Knights of Guinevere” you should react to it. There are stories that the show hints at that were going to the explore further if the show wasn’t cancelled. Some Dana herself outright confirmed outside the show. Like Eda and her family being Descendentes of Evelyn and Calleb. Flapjack used to be Evelyn’s pallisman. Bellos using the bodies of the Grimwalkers he created of Calleb. So Hunter was next in line to be his new vessel. The Titan showing or/and hinting Luz towards the glyphs. The most clear ones that he took an active choice to show her was the light and fire glyph. While ice and plant he hinted at her to look at the environment. Bellos talking about how it almost seemed like the Titan was hiding the glyphs from him. Also Luz still could do magic after cause she still has her Pallisman and we have seen throughout the show how she can still use magic using Owlbert. There is also the parallels between Bellos and Luz. Dana wanted to go deeper into but since the show was cancelled the had to rush a lot of the story including that aspect. There are hints that Amity’s parents were in a love triangle with Darius when they were younger. Alador in the middle. The ending in the time skip showing that those feelings are still there. There was a whole rivals to lovers thing going on there. Hooty origin story was going to be told basically being the first demon to exist. Him being a worm demon and that why they show another worm like him coming out of Titan’s eye. Love how the show ended and the time skip giving us older designs and hinting and stories and relationships that we can imagine for ourselves. Plus give fan fiction writers material.

Such an amazing show! I'm so glad you watched it. Words are not enough to describe how much i love this show so i won't go on about it, but dammit what a wonderful work from the entire crew of TOH and all the fans that kept it alive too.

Years later, I'm still not a fan of Belos' death, I think it could've been better. That doesn't change the fact that it was an amazing ending to an equally amazing series, especially with all the setbacks they had to work through. Great reaction btw, glad you enjoyed the show!

Your headcanon about the titan showing her the glyphs is actually true. And even the opposite. Belos said "it's almost like the Titan didnt want me to discover glyphs" last season, so it definitely has a hand in this

Unfortunately you never saw the light and learned to love Hooty, but otherwise it could not be a more perfect ending - the nightmares in the beginning really speak to the deep insecurities of our characters. I think the Collector character work is amazing - they are a child who only wants companionship who has only been used and abandoned by everyone - so much they don’t even fully understand death, now they have to learn the hard way along with while kindness and forgiveness is very important some people will always reject it - that Luz finally meets the Titan himself is so freaking awesome. How caring and loving King and Queen he is - especially how the reason he helped Luc with learning the glyph - not because she had some great destiny but simply because he was grateful of her kindness to King, and how he made it clear to her they are nothing like Belos! He talked big about doing it to save humanity - it’s all just a lie to himself about being a hero instead of a monster who deserves no Redemption, no excuse, no second chance in the end He IS left to die as he lived a pitiful monster - I love how Luz don’t say or look at him instead letting the world he tried to destroy do it to him. I love how Eda used his word of human being better than witches to obliterate him. That the Titans final word to King wasn’t something overly melodramatic or important but something silly and personal to them make it all the more impactful to me. I have so many things to say but only know of one way to say them: Let's go in the garden You'll find something waiting Right there where you left it Lying upside down When you finally find it You'll see how it's faded The underside is lighter When you turn it around Everything stays Right where you left it Everything stays But it still changes Ever so slightly Daily and nightly In little ways When everything stays Next up Infinity Train - yes by the way he has already voted to replace the Owl House - so recommending anything else would be kind of a waste of time.
