What size is the book? 9x9? 12x12?

Each individual map is 12x12.

I just can't get into this style of map in a booklet. They just seem too limited and small. They look nice but I can't imagine being satisfied using them.

They are definitely not for everyone. I don't think I would use them exclusively. More like another tool in the toolbox to use when needed.
