Loke also makes vinyl stickers of scatter terrain and I'm in love with them! They are high quality, infinitely re-usable, and fit perfectly on these books or on a standard Paizo battle mat. It's so easy to quickly set up nice looking scenes with terrain/scatter-- I can't believe it's not more popular. Also carrying around hundreds of terrain pieces in a small folder is a plus for the traveling GM ;)
Thanks again for another great video, Travis and I are truly grateful for your content, and I am glad to know you guys are here. The books look super cool!
I have several of the Loke products because I run games at a local store and needed a transportable solution. I love these. And yes, you can mix and match the sets they work well together. Can confirm the clings are great. I have their Magic Effects clings and have them set aside individually on clear sheets to use when my players drop a darkness, web or fireball spell (or any area of effect). A cost effective option that won't break your bank buying other expensive spell effect boxes.
I own all their books except the sci-fi ones. Love them. I have a ton of dungeon dressing to fill the pages, which makes everything pop.
Nice!! I'm glad you dig them! -Theo
I love Loke maps. I tend to find the vinyl pieces that stick on a bit of a pain to keep track of, but the maps themselves in all their books are just awesome for that spur of the moment encounter or whatever you need.
I use these for my campaign right now and they are absolutely amazing! Easy to transport and fun to create environments that come alive.
Love it! Thank you!
great review. I kickstarted the first sets of books and LOVE them. I think i'm gonna have to grab these ones too. Thanks for showing them off so we can take a peek before spending the money.
Thanks for watching! Good to know that other folks like them as much as I do! -Theo
Love Loke Battle Mats! I actually plan on doing a video for this product as well
Oh very nice! They're quite lovely! -Theo
@@TheGallantGoblin yeah! I've been using them for years. Definitely a consistent part of my arsenal of tools
this arrives tomorrow for me! this is such perfect timing to hype me up :3
Nice review,Theo! Yes I think Loke are my my gold standard at the moment for battle maps. So much variety for what you pay. They work extremely well with my Wizkids and Mantic 3D furniture and scenery pieces. I have yet to test them with my Dirt Cheap Dungeon walls, but suspect they will work well there too, thanks to the 1-inch grids on all their maps.
These look nice. I got rid of my Paizo flipmats some time ago because they just weren't varied enough.
If I was just getting into things now this would be a great solution.

I have their wilderness, towns and taverns and dungeon books as well as a bunch of the stickers. Was just saying at my session 2 days ago that I was hoping another one would come out.
Love Loke battle maps
I have volume 1 and 2 and dungeons. Still gotta get the rest!
Im upgrading my loke books with some binder rings that are super cheap on amazon, Turning them into ring binder will solve having the binding in the middle as you can pop them out and make it so you can use more then 2 or 4 pages at a time as you can lay them out.
I have most of their books, and I love them...
Yarro Studios, who seem much smaller than Loke, make a few books similar to this. They're larger, and don't have the spiral in the middle, but still have lay flat ability. But what's even more fun, they have battlemap scrolls. They're 20' long by 2', and each one has a module written for them. I got two of them through their kickstarter, but because of pandemic, and where I was in my main campaign, I never got to use them in person. I finally got to use the first one this winter, and it was so much fun scrolling down further and further into the dungeon. They also have good chunks in each one that you could use in stand alone stuff (though the scroll is not as easy to transport for just that).
I have both the Loke and Yarro ones, and I vastly prefer Loke. Better map illustrations and more versatile ones, in the end.
Hey! Those map books are pretty good.
Like Battle Maps are fantastic. The Great Book of Battle Mats is a must-have for any DM starting out.
I have a few from this collection. They're just great. Remember guys, a battlemap is like 20 dollars. With those, you get 20 for 40 dollars. Plus they're beautifull. It requires a bit of imagination to fit some of them in a scenario, but they're great
Indeed, hard to beat affordable, versatile, beautiful, and portable all in one package! -Theo
Can anyone offer a comparison between these and Yarro studios maps? He has a flip booklet as well
Loke are great, very versatile and top quality.
Indeed! Thank you! -Theo
i have the dungeons and willdernes books and its probably the best buy i did in D&D they also have a small book that can be great for minimalist dms i will recomende them 9.5/10 product.
I own the other three sets of these books, the way they all can be used together makes them SO reusable
Oh my jebus, 😂"call into your BBS" 😂😂😂. Ok I'm old... that shouldn't have been as funny as it was at 645am
I have good memories of my childhood BBS! Haha -Theo
If you where a Houstonion back then we could have been on the same BBS
Bought it
cannot recommend these map packs enough, I've been using them since their first Kickstarter with the Giant Book of Battle Maps and invested in each new release as they've brought them out. This particular set will be with me along side their Dungeon Toolbox Kickstarter "soon" 🙂
I've been reviewing these maps on my channel for a couple of years now. They are amazing! BTW, the company name is pronounced Low Key, like the god of mischief.
I think that was one of my guesses! Haha! I’ll have to check out your videos! Thank you!
That would be great! When I started working with them, I was unsure of the pronunciation, myself. So I contacted them directly. 🖖
Hobby has come a long way from back when I repurposed my old hero quest board for games
Curse of Strahd map flip book by WotC. Yes fucking please. Take my money!
Amazing products. I keep reaching out to them but sadly they don’t seem to reply. Still want all they make though
You look like CM Punk. Nice review
Cool maps
Not sure if that’s a good price or not though
It’s not bad for the number of maps you get.
Where else can you get 60+ maps for less than a dollar each in each set? Plus with the two book options there are more variations as the video shows. These are awesome value.
It's pronounced Lokee or Loki, as in the naughty demi god 😉
Whats up with dudes crazy eyes
A childhood accident misaligned my eyes.
