I never understood why people measure greatness in a QB by Super Bowl wins. Football is the "ultimate team sport". Peyton Manning was the ONLY QB to make everybody on offense better around him. Every OL, WR, TE, RB were better because of Peyton Manning. THAT is what i consider to be most important. Randy Moss made Tom Brady better.... the Patriots defense made Tom Brady better. Brady is a "product of the system" (is that correct phrase???). Anyway, Tom Brady is an amazing QB and should never be discredited for how good he truly is..... but he's no where near Peyton Manning level. It's a sound argument that when people say "If you put Peyton Manning on the Pats all those years, he would have easily won 8-10 Super Bowls", they are 100% correct. As far as Drew Brees goes, he is one of my favorite players..... but he probably doesn't belong in the Top 5, he throws too many interceptions. Definitely top 10 though. No one talks about Dan Marino (because he didnt win a SB), even though Marino was doing things no other QB was even dreaming about back then. Favre just has longevity on his side (al though he was a good QB). Montana was a good QB, but again people want to put him in the top 5, top 3 just because he won Super Bowls.
